When Arabel returned, she found Idan sitting with his arms folded and his eyes closed, and Darkia had already finished with the dishes she had brought and was now silently looking at Idan.
"Oh, you're back," Idan opened his eyes, noticing her return, and smiled at her. "How are you?"
"It's fine," Arabel replied with a slight smile, taking her seat.
Darkia watched their interaction with a smile, and the longer she watched, the more pleased she felt for some reason.
"Where were we?" Arabel asked, returning to the topic of the conversation.
"About the elemental worlds," — Darkia replied, remembering. "But let's put it off for later, after we survive the Third Calamity."
"Okay," Idan and Arabel agreed, realizing that it was better to focus on the immediate events for now.
"By the way, I almost forgot, did you already know that the Eye of the Web is now mine?"
"Yes, we know," Idan nodded.
