From a bird's-eye view, one of the Forbidden Zones looked like an ordinary lake, almost beautiful: cold clear water, reeds, smooth boulders near the shore, duckweed in the pools. At dawn, the surface of the lake is covered with a misty "milky" veil.
The smell of silt and wet wood is in the air near the lake, and the voices of frogs and birds can be heard around.
If look at the surface of the lake for a long time, can notice one oddity: the waves do not move in the wind, but as if under the influence of someone's slow breathing. Sometimes barely noticeable dark circles appear on the water surface, like the traces of huge craters, which immediately disappear.
There is not just depth hidden under the lake, but a whole "other side" — a special space that seems to be superimposed on the water surface, like the inside of a fabric.
