Chapter 275 - CHAPTER 275

Roger Final Journey

At this moment, Roger fully understood the path ahead.

Once they reached the final island, the Roger Pirates would have to disband. The World Government would never tolerate their existence after uncovering the greatest secret in history. They would stop at nothing to erase them from the world.

Roger was no megalomaniac. Though ambitious, he was nothing like Caesar or Shiki, the Golden Lion. He did not seek to dominate; he simply loved freedom. He wanted to be the most unfettered man in the world!

The World Government had ruled for centuries. Even if they had buried the truth, once it was unearthed, it could shake the very foundations of the world. To protect his crew, Roger had no choice—disbanding was inevitable.

But what of Bucky and Shanks? The two were still young. Unlike the others, they could not simply vanish into obscurity.

Meanwhile, high-ranking officials within the World Government and the Marines had pieced together Roger's goal. Their suspicions made them wary. Still, they believed no one could find that place—not even them.

But this time, their confidence would be their downfall…

On an island near the final stretch of their journey, the Roger Pirates made their last preparations. Beyond this point lay the most treacherous sea in the world, where directions were meaningless. Without guidance, any ship venturing forward would be doomed to sink into oblivion.

Fortunately, they had gathered all four Road Poneglyphs. Even so, no one had ever confirmed the island's existence. It was still a legend—an unproven myth.

Yet, Roger never hesitated. His gaze burned like fire. Before him stretched an abyss of uncertainty, but he showed no fear.

Instead, his face radiated excitement and anticipation.

"Let's go, boys! Let's witness history and make history!"

The crew, already prepared, waited only for his command. Their hearts pounded as one. Hearing their captain's call, they exchanged smiles before shouting in unison:

"Aye, Captain Roger!"

Roger grinned, stepping onto the Oro Jackson. His crew followed closely behind.

As he boarded, he glanced at the sky—a brief, subtle movement that went unnoticed by his men.

But high above, floating in the clouds, Caesar was watching.

In his hand, a small screen displayed a live feed of the Roger Pirates, captured from a satellite's perspective.

"Still as sharp as ever, Roger."

Caesar had been tracking Roger since he entered the New World. He was missing one crucial Road Poneglyph, preventing him from reaching the final island. But he had to know the secret that lay there. When the time came for the final battle, he would use this knowledge to bring down the World Government.

Thus, he had been tailing Roger from the shadows, waiting for this moment.

The Oro Jackson, now fully stocked, left its last resting point and ventured into uncharted waters.

Caesar followed silently from above.

Days passed. The chaotic weather seemed to signal something momentous ahead.

Jabba, the navigator, suddenly confirmed their destination.

At the same time, Roger and Kozuki Oden, both possessing supreme Observation Haki, sensed something ahead. Their expressions sharpened.

"It's here…"

"There's something ahead."

Their words sent a ripple through the crew. If the island before them was truly what they sought, they were about to become the first crew in history to conquer the Grand Line.

Fame meant little to them. But the truth—what lay hidden—was irresistible.

"So, this is it… The place where the World Government's darkest secret lies."

Even Caesar, a man whose knowledge was nearly unparalleled, felt something indescribable emanating from the island. It was barren. Decayed. Dead.

Concealed Secrets, the Panicked Five Elders

The Roger Pirates finally set foot on the island.

It was desolate—ruins stretching as far as the eye could see.

Excitement, tension, and awe filled them. They had done what no one else could.

But then, as they took their first steps, they all stopped.

And then… they laughed.

They laughed uncontrollably. As if they had just heard the greatest joke in history.

Caesar, still hidden in the sky, was confused. The island's magnetic field disrupted his satellite feed. He couldn't see what they saw.

For over ten minutes, they laughed until they were breathless. Then, a heavy silence fell.

Roger finally spoke.

"So that's it."

His voice carried frustration and helplessness.

"What a cruel joke."

His crew turned to him.

"Captain… do we reveal it to the world?"

They knew the World Government was corrupt. But what they had discovered here defied all their expectations.

Silence.

Then Roger shook his head.

"No. Not yet."

The weight of his words settled over them.

Some truths had to remain hidden. For now.

"We were too early. The world isn't ready."

His men accepted his decision without question.

"Aye, Captain."

Jabba sighed, disappointment clear in his eyes. They had imagined a hundred different possibilities for what they would find. None of them had expected this.

But since they had come this far, they would not leave without understanding the full truth.

They walked the ruins, absorbing the weight of what lay before them.

---

Above, Caesar remained silent.

Now was not the time for him to appear. He had followed Roger, but there was no need to expose himself.

So he waited.

For more than a day, he remained in the sky, patient as ever.

Finally, after nearly two days, the Roger Pirates left.

They set sail for Reverse Mountain, retracing their journey. The world would never know what they had found—not yet.

Their expressions made it clear: they were not satisfied. But they understood the weight of what they had uncovered.

The timing was wrong. The world was not yet ready.

But one day, the truth would surface.

---

Once they were gone, Caesar descended onto the island.

He pulled out three Eternal Poses and carefully recorded the location. He would hide them separately. Just in case.

As he explored, his sharp eyes took in the remnants of the past. And then, understanding dawned.

His expression shifted from curiosity to disbelief. And then, amusement.

"Hah… so that's how it is."

He laughed. A deep, bitter laugh.

"Typical of the World Government."

Even he, one of the most knowledgeable men in the world, found this revelation staggering.

"If this is revealed… the World Government's reign will crumble."

His laughter died down, replaced by a cold determination.

"Yes. They must be overthrown."
