Kippy's lack of reluctance toward him made Rhodes exhale in relief. It was the same for Kathy. She sighed, attracting Kippy's gaze. The sister patted the child's head before looking at Rhodes. "Let's go!" Kippy pulled Rhodes toward the house. Kathy followed them after a few steps while Killian trailed behind. The main door then closed, sealing all the noises within it.

The manor's main lobby was covered in a purple mist. It made it hard for people to see what was around them after a good three meters. Rhodes held Kippy's hand tighter in case something attacked them then and there. However, the mist slowly rolled away and cleared. Rhodes turned behind him and saw Killian holding onto a big hanging lamp. Its light pushed the mist away.
