Lily then glanced over at Luna who was observing her potion with newfound curiosity. Stating that its taste changed based on the user was a curious concept that she couldn't quite wrap her head around.
Lily however was more curious about how it would taste to her. So without waiting another second, she threw her head back and downed the bottle in one go.
She regretted it immediately.
It was a taste that she missed so much and no matter how much money she had, she would never be able to taste it again.
It was her mothers cooking. More specifically it tasted exactly like the last root beer float that she had shared with her mom before she died. She used to make Root beer floats with a dash of cinnamon and crushed candy cane, her mom's supposed 'secret' ingredients to make the drink more delicious.
