The second they were in mid air, Liora's eyes grew. Not out of shock or fear, but surprise with what had just happened.
It took almost a whole three seconds for them to reach the bottom of the cliff, but the moment Hajime's feet touched the ground, he flinged Liora upwards, trying to lessened the impact.
A second later, as Liora was coming back down, he grabbed her as if carrying a princess, but the other way around.
Liora still couldn't believe what was happen that she never uttered a word after Hajime had finally set her down. All she could do was stare at a void in front of her. Her blue eyes wide open.
Meanwhile, behind her, Hajime was almost breathing heavy, because in the first place he had no idea if jumping over a cliff was a good idea. And he was just glad they survived the fall.
I'm never doing that again...
Hajime thought to himself, looking up the cliff, eyes wide, teeth clenched.
