Everyone's attention turned to the blue-haired girl in curiosity, except for Hajime, who stood in a daze for reasons unknown.
"Uh… you mean me?" the blue-haired girl asked, looking at Gorthok with grave eyes.
Gorthok didn't respond. To break the silence, Liora spoke again, her tone still nervous as she glanced between Gorthok and the girl. "We thought you brought her here?"
"No." The blue-haired girl said.
"Huh?" Gorthok muttered, his expression growing darker by the second.
Everyone else looked at Liora, silently wondering what had prompted her to say they thought the girl was with Gorthok. Uncertainty flickered across their faces, but no one dared speak up.
"You must be kidding me," Gorthok said, and Liora flinched, her legs subtly shaking as his gaze grew even deadlier. "You think I would walk with someone like her? In fact, consider yourself lucky just to get a word with me." His voice was low, but absolute.
