As the group of cornballs made their way toward the titans, Rael once again watched everything from the sidelines.
Whether they were planning to use the power of friendship to deal with those titans or not, he wasn't sure.
Still, he would sit idly by. After all, Aurelius was dead.
Glancing behind at the city, Rael was speechless.
It didn't look like much damage had been done from the sidelines... but there were many broken buildings and several dozen civilian corpses. It wasn't what he expected to see.
Was it the gargoyles? No... I'm sure none of them breached inside. Then...?
Infighting.
It wasn't completely uncommon.
Rael glanced even further ahead, and as he expected, there were people flocking toward one end of the city center with bags of food in hand.
Granted, the city was massive, so he wasn't sure what the ordeal was on the other end, but since most monsters seemed to be coming from the shore, he didn't worry about it.
