"Doesn't really matter now, does it?" Rael chuckled.
"All you have to know is that I'm on your side. I also believe that you're the only person suitable for becoming the hospital director, since the other fuckers would abuse their power."
And of course, Rael didn't want a repeat of what had already transpired.
So with that in mind, he continued staring at the confused and slightly frightened Julian for a few moments until finally...
"Do I have a choice?"
Rael tilted his head.
"Partially."
Julian frowned slightly.
"Then could I partially disagree until it's my birthday? It's only in two months or so."
"...?"
That's the excuse he was trying to throw out.
A fucking birthday?
"You know the world won't stop moving just because your birthday's around the corner, right?" Rael said, crossing his arms. "The hospital director is most likely going to be replaced by tomorrow. You have one chance, and one chance only. The chance is now."
