Rael watched in shock as Gaia effortlessly dismembered every one of the Ancient Primordials that remained and literally began toying with them, until finally slitting their throats and crushing their souls.
All that in less than 10 seconds, whereas Rael would probably be dead by now.
The overwhelming difference in power really was something to admire, but even so, Gaia soon finished up and eventually walked back to Rael.
When she returned, she simply wiped the dust off her clothes and gave him a nod.
"Loki and one other escaped," she said.
Rael froze for a moment.
"...They didn't look like they escaped?"
"They did. However, it looked like they only brought 99% of their souls here. They kept a single percent elsewhere. If I had to guess, they will likely regenerate the rest of their souls."
"There's such a thing?" Rael was stunned. "So doesn't that just make them essentially immortal?"
