"Arthur, why'd you run away?"
Arthur met Rael's gaze.
"Why wouldn't I run away? I'm wanted by the entire continent. If anyone caught me, they would have blackmailed me into giving away the Holy Kingdom. I could never do that."
"Well, if it makes you feel any better, there's not much of a Holy Kingdom left," Rael replied plainly. "After that fight all of those months ago, pretty much the majority of it was destroyed. People have begun rebuilding, but it's just a massive tourist attraction at this point."
