Lautaro woke up so fast he almost fell off his bed and crashed to the floor. Now he was in a position where the only thing holding him from hitting his head on the hardwood floor was the wire of his lamp. Lautaro didn't even know how it happened.
He prayed that his wire would hold strong and hold him for long enough until he fully woke up and realized what was happening. But the moment was fleeting and then it fled. The wire snapped under the pressure and Lautaro went tumbling down to the hard earth.
"Ow."
He said half sleeping he wanted to go back to sleep but then his alarm rang. It was time for school. Lautaro hated days like this. Mondays where he fell out of bed, it happened to him more times than necessary in the White Room.
He called days like these "Genesis Days" he thought it was Genesis rubbing his disgustingly bad luck on him. But Genesis wasn't here and he was still unlucky so he blamed it on the mind-controlling mole.
He struggled to leave the floor and get up. Then the pain hit him once again, and he rubbed his head with a displeased face. He walked over to his bathroom and brushed his teeth in the shower to save water, then he realised that those gang members were paying for everything and took his bath with hot water.
Lautaro came out of the bathroom with a smirk tugging at his face. He then was fascinated not only at the selection of pure white towels he had been too sleepy to see before but also at the steam.
He had never seen steam anywhere but the kitchen before. To see it in his bathing room because of his use of hot water was marvellous. He also wiped away some of the fog from the mirror to see himself smiling back at him. He admired his physical body for as long as he could before running back to his room.
He put together a random outfit and when he came out of his room one of his guards was there. The guards fave turned to one of displeasure as he saw the egregious outfit he had put together. One could not describe how atrocious he looked. The guard looked at him up and down as to question if he really was the same Lautaro that fought Macell.
"Don't look at me like that. Atleast I'm not a side character bodyguard who has to wear the same black and white outfit everyday."
Lautaro went off on the bodyguard more than he needed to, maybe due to him being grumpy after waking up on the side of the bed known as the floor. His bodyguard scoffed and said.
"Atleast I don't go blind when I pick my outfits and am I glad that I have these sunglasses to protect my eyes from your horror."
Lautaro was shocked that a side character was given the screen time to stand up to him, infant Lautaro was impressed.
"Son of Demeter predicted this outcome and already arranged for you to have a personal professional in fashion to help you pick put your clothes, she will be arriving shortly."
"She?"
"Yes, a she."
Lautaro was a bit taken aback but only slightly so. He had expected a male fashion professional but there would probably be more females in fashion than males. He waited in his room until there was a knock on his door. Lautaro raised his voice from his bed.
"Come in."
She came in and Lautaro wished she would never leave. She was stunning. She wasn't even at Noel's level of beauty but somehow, maybe, probably not above that.
She wore a buttoned up white blouse which clung tight to her soft looking skin. Her skin complexion hinted that she was White and also slightly Asian. She had an ebony skirt that reached to her knees which also was tight against her body. Her black hair was in a messy bun with bangs at the side of her forehead. She wore tight red high heels that matched with her entire outfit. She was perfect.
Her eyes told stories as they were bright and shone. She had vibrant and lively hazel eyes. She was wearing the bare minimum of make-up and still looked from heaven. Lautaro's jaw dropped to floor and kept descending.
He now understood what Genesis meant when he said that Noel was double drop dead gorgeous. She was so beautiful. Lautaro had no negative thoughts about her as if she could do wrong, no matter what. This was not hex, this was love, pure love.
From him to her.
She came into the room with a somewhat straight face. Once she laid eyes upon Lautaro he wanted to disappear into the ground. She tried to hold back her laughter, but she just couldn't.
"Are you sure this is the same guy?"
She said laughingly while pointing to what he wore when he fought Macell.
"I thought I wouldn't be necessary seeing ad you had such eyes for fashion. But it seems, no it doesn't seem, I'm definitely wrong."
She said still smiling.
Lautaro was getting clowned on but he was still making her smile and in that moment that mattered the most.
The screen she showed was a bit peculiar. It was what he wore but it was extremely detailed. Too detailed. It was in a well made diagram. It had everything from his shoes, the size of everything, a comfortability and style average, which he scored high on but it still left Lautaro puzzled.
"H-How did they get all my clothes so detailed?"
"Technology and constant adjustment based on what they public thinks. Even now it's fluctuating."
She said as she pointed to the screen and when Lautaro saw the score it was indeed fluctuating, but the average stayed the same.
"Cool."
There was a bit of a pause after Lautaro spoke then he continued.
"So I guess your here to get me in some actual good looking clothes. What's your name?"
She answered back quickly.
"Yeah I'm here to get you out of whatever that is. And my name's Annie, short for Anniebeth."
"Hot name."
Annie tilted her head slightly at that.
"To each their own I guess."
Annie had shown no signs of reciprocation probably because he had said that without thinking but it just added to the fact that Lautaro had just missed the goal completely. He had to try again some time.
"Anyway I have clothes that the data would say match you."
"And what if I don't like them?"
Lautaro questioned.
"Unlikely, but even if you don't you'll still be forced to wear it."
Within a few seconds the clothes were in. They looked amazing, Lautaro loved them. The shirt was a nice white with a chromatic tie-dye. He had the optional choice to wear a hoodie which he did. The hoodie was a light gray and its hood could cover half his head.
He torn baggy pants that had a second layer underneath them. They were extremely comfortable for Lautaro and he got to play with the buttons near his pockets. He quickly entered his bathroom and came out.
"Looks better than whatever you were wearing before."
"How good do I look?"
Lautaro questioned Annie, eyes bright yellow.
"You look fabulous, you'll definitely be presentable enough to the crowd."
"No I mean how do I look to you?"
Annie looked puzzled to what Lautaro was saying but when she finally realized her eyes widened slightly. She switched from her lighter tone to a more relaxed one she sighed and spoke.
"Earlier than I expected. I'm pretty sure everybody ancestors and descendants saw the face you made when you saw me but I thought you were scared."
Lautaro pushed his feelings aside and snapped back.
"Scared? Scared of what? Scared of the ring on your finger in the next 5 years?"
Annie spoke back with actual emotion and with a plain voice like she had earlier.
"Do you really think we're gonna get hitched in 5 years? Do you think I would even like you in 5 years?"
"Oh we're only gonna get hitched because of the baby."
"Baby? If if it was possible you'd be the worst father in the whole of the century."
Lautaro entertained their bickering with a snide remark.
"You said even "if" that means it's possible."
Annie said still letting their conversation drag on.
"Even if we tried to have a child you can not handle all this."
Annie said showcasing her body.
"Then why don't we put that to the test?"
Annie looked at with a blank expression.
"I'm not letting you hit."
"Not yet atleast."
Lautaro proclaimed with a smile. Annie didn't answer.
"I think it's time for you to go to school."
"What about you? Don't you have to go to school to?"
Annie quickly responded.
"Homeschooled."
"Oh."
Lautaro was a few steps away from exiting the door before he turned around and said.
"The way that ended was so awkward. We should kiss to make-"
"No."
"Your not even going to give me a chance. I like you for that. If you're that protective of your hot self that means no other guy stands a chance."
"I'm not protective of myself it's just you who I barely like."
Lautaro pumped his fist into the air.
"You said barely. That means there's still a chance."
Annie rolled her eyes.
"Anyway baby I'll be off for school see you when I come back."
Lautaro walked out of his room, his heart was racing. He was getting somewhere with the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.
But suddenly when he was reaching the stairs he turned around, ears alerted by the sound of the door opening quickly. He saw Annie running at him full speed, before he could even react he was pushed down the stairs.
She did NOT like being called babe.
Lautaro managed to balance himself by holding onto the railing with one hand. He was balancing perfectly with one hand upside down. The pose just made his physique incredible. It also showed his abs.
Lautaro joked despite his situation.
"You like what you seeing?"
Lautaro could see her cheeks getting slightly red. He was spared that romantical weakness because of his skin color.
"How are you able to do that?"
Annie genuinely questioned.
"It's just comes naturally. Being able to react like that. But I bet it's natural for you to fall for me, isn't it, babe?"
Annie took off her shoe and threw it at Lautaro. The guards looked absolutely perplexed at what Lautaro and Annie were doing. But they did not interfere because of how much fun Lautaro looked to be having.
The shoe flew through the air with pinpoint accuracy. Lautaro eyes widened slightly. Then he caught the shoe with his other hand.
"Nice aim. You reminded me of my mom right then. You really dont like it when I call you my bae, do you? On a different note I'm keeping this shoe for personal reasons."
Lautaro said smiling. He then put the shoe up to face but not to close and pretended to sniff it. Annie instantly keeled over.
"Just know all the progress we made is gone."
"So we did made progress."
Annie rolled her eyes and caught the shoe that Lautaro threw back at her. Lautaro then made his way down the staircase and saw his mother swimming in the indoor pool.
He greeted her with respect and then made his way out to school. He was accompied by the bodyguard he interacted with earlier that day, whilst walking Lautaro gave him a question.
"What's your name not a side character?"
The bodyguard scoffed.
"Name's Kinger. And I'm not only your bodyguard but also your personal trainer."
"Well I guess it's nice to meet you my glorious king."
Lautaro said with a smile.
Kinger laughed slightly at that and they both made their way to school.
