Auxiliary Chapter II: The Depths of Chaos, Explained by Welt Yang and Himeko

Welt Yang adjusted his glasses and lowered his cane.

"Alright, listen closely. This part's a bit more complicated. The Sea of Quanta is the abyss surrounding the Imaginary Tree. It's where leaves go once they're pruned, destroyed, or collapse due to instability."

Himeko added her input.

"In simpler terms, it's the cosmic junkyard. But it's also a refuge for incomplete realities—fragments of worlds that couldn't sustain themselves. Time and space behave... unpredictably there."

Welt continued.

"Inside the Sea of Quanta, reality is shattered. The physical laws of each leaf no longer apply. The creatures that exist there—if you can call them that—don't follow any known logic."

Himeko nodded.

"Some worlds inside the Sea survive as isolated bubbles. But others? Pure death traps. Going in there is not a relaxing stroll."

Variants of People: Multitudes with Familiar Faces

"Now let's talk about variants. Within each branch and its leaves, different versions of the same person may exist. They might share the same name, face, or even memories—but their experiences make them entirely different beings."

Himeko smiled.

"For example, you could find one Welt Yang who's a wise teacher, and another who's… I don't know, a pop idol?"

Welt sighed.

"And unfortunately, both are equally real in their respective contexts."

Himeko took a sip of her coffee.

"Some variants aren't even human. Others were born into radically different worlds. The core essence might be the same—but their choices, environments, and lived experiences make them unique individuals."
