Brandon kept one arm secure around Eira's waist while his free hand gently held Dhayun's, urging her to follow him inside.
Dhayun's expression was calm, but her fingers twitched ever so slightly in his grasp and her eyes flickered between him and the girl in his arms.
Eira glanced at Dhayun for a brief second and showed a polite smile.
She loosened her arms around Brandon's neck, letting herself down from his embrace, but still stayed close at his side.
The three of them made their way toward the entrance together.
Elize was waiting just past the doorway and smiled faintly "Kael and Dhayun..."
Ravene emerged from the kitchen, wiping her hands with a cloth.
She raised a brow when her gaze landed on Dhayun "Oh, we meet again..."
Dhayun hesitated for a moment before bowing her head slightly "It's nice to meet you."
Elize stepped forward gracefully and patted Dhayun's head "The last time I saw you, you were so small... but now you have grown so much."
