Brandon pressed his forehead to hers for a moment, "I promise I will be here. You just need to follow my rules."
Her yellow eyes flared and she nodded her head quickly "Yes, yes, I will be good for you."
She leaned in, every inch of her focused on him "I will be yours. What is that rule?"
"You want me to be close? I will sleep with you every night. I will wake before you do and lay out your clothes. I'll brew the tea just the way you like it the second you step from the shower."
"I'll learn about the scars on your body so I can kiss each one away when you're tired. I'll fold your shirt the way you prefer with the collars smoothed... because little things matter when you belong to somebody."
Her fingers trailed down from his jaw to his throat to his collarbone, "Naked in front of you?" she breathed, and the laugh that followed was like a hungry sound.
