Brandon chuckled under his breath, letting her pull him along at her own pace until they reached the car parked just off the sand.
Florence's hand slid away from his as she opened the back door.
Without hesitation, she pushed the front seats forward and lowered the backrest, flattening the space into a makeshift bed.
Then she turned back to him and stepped closer, her hands immediately reaching for the buttons of his shirt.
Her fingers slipped between each button, fastening and popped them open one by one.
Brandon smiled dryly, letting her take the lead as the cool night air brushed against his chest.
"Florence… you're awfully impatient tonight."
"Shh," she hushed, her eyes flickering up at him "Don't talk. Just lie down."
With a surprising strength, she pressed against his chest, urging him back until he fell into the open car.
The seat dipped beneath his weight as he settled on his back.
