The bathroom was filled with steam, and the hot water cascaded over Elize's body as she stood under the showerhead.
The glass door was clear enough to offer an unobstructed view, beads of water tracing down her skin, catching the soft light from the overhead fixture.
Brandon sat on the closed toilet lid just outside the shower, elbows on his knees, watching her with a quiet smile on his lips.
Elize turned under the spray, letting the water run down her back before facing him again.
She lifted her arms to rinse her hair, arching slightly so the water highlighted every curve of her body... the line of her waist, the swell of her breasts, the way droplets clung to her skin before falling.
Brandon's gaze followed every movement.
"Hmm," he murmured under his breath, "Calista told me there's an emergency at the Church. But she said it's not that urgent... just come when I'm free."
