Chapter 235 - Chapter 235 : Old Friends

Shadow Clone Naruto was watching the battlefield closely.

In his previous life, this was the battlefield where he faced the Third Raikage. He knew the situation well and understood that timing was everything.

"Wait a little longer. Let them fight it out first. When the moment comes, I'll jump in," Naruto said, his eyes narrowing.

Hashirama turned to Tobirama. "Tobirama, sit down first. Then we can talk."

Tobirama scoffed, visibly irritated, but he sat down. When his elder brother spoke, he had no choice.

Hiruzen Sarutobi gave a tired sigh. "Shodai, Nidaime... they haven't changed at all."

Elsewhere, the Second Tsuchikage, Mū, ignored the Fourth Kazekage's words and muttered, "So, the Second Hokage is dead too. Then which bastard used this technique?!"

The Fourth Mizukage, Yagura, crossed his arms. "It must be Orochimaru. From what I know, he's the only one who knows this technique."

Gengetsu Hōzuki, the Second Mizukage, sighed. "That damn Orochimaru resurrected me into this world... the future. It's bizarre!"

Mū jabbed a finger at Gengetsu. "Let me set you straight. This isn't the future. We're all dead. Got it?!"

Gengetsu scoffed. "I don't need you to tell me that. I'm well aware!"

Mū's sensory perception was incredibly sharp. He felt large amounts of chakra not far away. Without looking, he addressed the Fourth Kazekage. "Hey, Kazekage. There's chakra nearby that's very similar to yours. You feel it too, right?"

The Fourth Kazekage nodded, looking toward the distant dunes. "Yeah, I sense it."

Gengetsu's brow furrowed. "There are tons of Kirigakure chakras... No, not just that. I sense chakra from other villages too."

The Third Raikage growled. "So many Kumo shinobi... What the hell is going on here?"

To them, it made no sense. Villages that had once been enemies now stood together in peace. It turned their entire worldview upside down.

Mū grumbled. "Damn it. Even after being brought back, I still can't fully control my body. It's unbearable."

Gengetsu nodded. "Yeah, I originally wanted to kill you again, but turns out I can't even move properly."

Mū scoffed. "As if you could kill me!"

The Third Raikage chuckled. "To be honest, I'd love to go head-to-head with all of you. You're legends."

Suddenly, the Fourth Kazekage felt a gaze on him. He turned around—

The Eye of Sand.

"Gaara?"

Gaara stood on a sand dune, using his Eye of Sand to survey the enemy. Among the four reincarnated Kage, one of them was unmistakably his father.

Immediately, he sent the intel to HQ.

At the Allied Shinobi Forces Headquarters, a Konoha sensor-nin handed a scroll to Shikaku Nara.

Shikaku's eyes widened. "Report from the Fourth Division. Captain Gaara has identified four reincarnated enemies: Second Mizukage, Second Tsuchikage, Fourth Mizukage, and..."

He hesitated.

Raikage A pressed, "And who is the last one, Shikaku?!"

"...The Third Raikage."

"What?!"

Raikage A jumped to his feet. "Damn Akatsuki! Even my father? This is unforgivable!"

He slammed his fists on the table. Tsunade intervened quickly. "Raikage-sama, please remain calm. You're the Supreme Commander now!"

Still fuming, the Raikage sat down heavily.

Tsunade turned to Shikaku. "Didn't we only detect three people? Why are there four on the battlefield?"

A voice responded.

"That's because one of them is Mū."

Everyone turned as Ōhnoki, the Third Tsuchikage, floated into the command tent.

Tsunade stood. "Tsuchikage-sama, you're back."

Ōhnoki nodded. "I just finished escorting the Earth Daimyō to safety. Now I'm here."

He continued, "Master Mū's sensory capabilities are unlike any other. He can disguise his chakra so effectively that even HQ can't track him."

Shikaku nodded in awe. "To slip past our entire perception network... what a formidable enemy."

Ōhnoki scoffed. "Of course. He was my teacher—the one who taught me Dust Release, a Kekkei Tōtō."

"What?!"

Tsunade was stunned. "I thought you were the only Dust Release user alive!"

Shikaku looked equally shocked. "You're serious? He mastered all three elements?"

Ōhnoki sighed. "He did. He taught me everything I know."

Raikage A clenched his fists. "Four Kage-class enemies... Gaara won't last alone. Tsunade, we need to send backup! If they're not stopped, they'll crush our vanguard!"

Shikaku nodded in agreement. "Yes. If Gaara's division falls, it could collapse our entire formation."

Ōhnoki cracked his back. "I'll go. None of you know Mū as well as I do. Besides, Gaara's still young, even if he's capable. He'll need support."

"Thank you, Tsuchikage-sama," Shikaku said gratefully.

Ōhnoki waved it off. "Don't mention it. I'm just tired of flying back and forth."

With that, he soared off toward the Fourth Division.

"A large number of White Zetsu are converging!" Inoichi Yamanaka reported with urgency. "But I can't sense a single chakra signature among them. Wait...!"

Raikage A leaned forward. "What is it?"

Inoichi's eyes widened. "Darui's unit... Two individuals are radiating immense Nine-Tails chakra! It's overwhelming!"

Raikage stood in shock. "What?!"

Tsunade gasped. "Could it be Naruto?"

Raikage shook his head. "No. I know who it is. The Gold and Silver Brothers—Kinkaku and Ginkaku of Kumogakure!"

Just then, a Konoha shinobi whispered something into Tsunade's ear.

Her expression changed immediately. "Impossible... Is it among them?"

Her chest rose and fell rapidly. After a deep breath, she steadied herself.

Raikage A turned to Tsunade. "Tsunade, my father's at the Fourth Division. Onoki is en route. Gaara is there too, so I'm not worried. But those brothers... even the Nine-Tails couldn't kill them. They survived after eating its flesh. I have no choice. I must go! Darui can't face them alone!"

Shikaku stood up quickly. "You can't go, Raikage-sama."

Raikage frowned. "Why not?!"

"You're the Supreme Commander. The moment you step into the battlefield, you become a piece on the board, not the one watching the game. You won't be able to lead."

Raikage clenched his fists. "So what do you suggest? I sit here and watch as my men die?"

"I'll go."

Everyone turned.

Tsunade stood up, her gaze firm. "I'll take care of it."
