Samui looked at the Gold and Silver Brothers standing before her and said seriously, "There's no mistake. Those are the treasured tools of the Sage of Six Paths, as recorded in the books. Four out of the five sacred ninja tools once held by Kumogakure!"
Atsui frowned. "I never understood what those tools actually do. I think I fell asleep during the Jōnin history lecture."
Samui sighed and explained, "That glowing rope is the Kōkinjō, which binds the enemy and forces out their word spirit.
"The sword is the Shichiseiken, which severs word spirits and curses them.
"The gourd is the Benihisago, which records word spirits and seals those who say their most-used word.
"And the red-and-white fan is the Bashōsen, which can generate all five nature transformations: fire, water, earth, lightning, and wind."
Atsui's eyes narrowed. "Looks like they're going to be tough to handle. Oh no, they're moving in!"
Suddenly, dozens of White Zetsu clones emerged, encircling the group.
"Leave this to me!" Atsui shouted, unsheathing his blade. "Cloud Style: Flame Slash!"
With a roar, he unleashed a circle of fire that ignited the White Zetsu around them.
"They may have legendary tools," Atsui said confidently, "but they're just props! Compared to my passionate Flame Ninjutsu, they're nothing! Come at me!"
He charged straight at Kinkaku.
"Hey, Atsui! Don't be reckless!" Darui yelled.
"Don't engage yet! I haven't finished explaining!" Samui added. "Idiot! You want to be written into history by dying today?"
Kinkaku smirked. "You're underestimating us."
Ginkaku laughed. "Time to teach this loudmouth some manners."
Darui and Samui leaped through the wall of flames to provide backup.
Atsui swung his flaming blade, cleaving through the White Zetsu. "Outta the way! Walls won't stop me!"
"Ginkaku," Kinkaku called out, "I'll deal with the loud one. You handle the other two."
"No problem," Ginkaku replied.
As Kinkaku charged, his fist wrapped in the Kōkinjō, ready to strike Atsui—
A yellow flash burst through the air. Shadow Clone Naruto appeared mid-kick and struck Kinkaku square in the head, knocking him back.
At the same time, Tsunade arrived beside Darui and sent Ginkaku flying with a single punch that launched him into the sea.
Water erupted upward like a geyser as Ginkaku crashed.
Darui's jaw dropped. That punch was stronger than Raikage-sama's!
"Lady Hokage! Why are you here?"
Tsunade brushed dust from her gloves. "Naruto came to help me earlier. My battle ended, so I came to reinforce this front."
"That's excellent news," Darui said with relief. "We have a real chance now!"
Turning, he saw Naruto ablaze with the Nine-Tails' golden chakra. Between Naruto and Tsunade, they were more than a match for Kinkaku and Ginkaku.
"Hey! You bastard! Don't steal my kill!" Atsui snapped at Naruto.
Atsui still held a grudge against Naruto for attacking the village and fighting the Raikage during the previous events.
Samui walked up and smacked him on the head. "Idiot! Why'd you charge in before I finished the briefing?!"
Atsui rubbed his cheek. "You talked too slow. It was time to fight!"
Naruto looked at the Gold and Silver Brothers. He wasn't too familiar with them in his previous life, but as Hokage, he'd learned a bit from Raikage Darui.
Inside Naruto's Shadow Clone, Kurama stirred.
"Naruto, beat those two idiots up for me."
"What's wrong? You know them?"
Kurama growled, "They once got swallowed by me and started chewing on my stomach lining. They ate part of my flesh while I was alive! It hurt for days until I spit them out."
Naruto's eyes narrowed. "No wonder you're pissed. Don't worry, I'll pay them back."
Kinkaku and Ginkaku stared at Naruto.
"Hey, Ginkaku," Kinkaku said. "That chakra… it's Nine-Tails."
Ginkaku licked his lips. "I've missed that taste."
"Let's grab him, extract the Nine-Tails, and feast again."
"Excellent plan."
Naruto's eye twitched. "They're just as scummy as you said, Kurama."
"Told you," Kurama growled.
Samui pulled Naruto aside and warned him, "Beware of Kinkaku's Kōkinjō. If he hits you with it, it draws out your most frequently spoken word—your word spirit.
"Once that's out, the Shichiseiken cuts it, and the Benihisago seals you if you say it again."
Tsunade furrowed her brows. "A Curse Sealing Technique… that's nasty."
Samui nodded. "Exactly. So avoid getting struck by that rope."
Naruto nodded. "Then we'll just fight them without saying anything. If we don't speak, they can't steal our word spirits."
Samui thought about it. "That… might work."
Darui muttered, "Man, it sucks when even your favorite catchphrase becomes a liability."
Kinkaku laughed. "So you know the rules. That's fine. Knowing won't save you."
Ginkaku grinned. "It's been a while since we had fun."
Naruto smirked. "Bring it. I'm gonna shut you both up for good."
He began forming a Rasengan in each hand.
"I'm going first, Granny Tsunade!"
He launched into battle as golden chakra burst outward like a sun rising on the battlefield.
