Naruto coordinated efficiently with Shikaku Nara, helping stabilize the situation at the Allied Shinobi Forces' headquarters.
Immediately afterward, Naruto's Shadow Clones dispersed across the various battlefields, exposing imposters and capturing the White Zetsu who were disguised among Allied shinobi.
Kabuto Yakushi quickly caught wind of Naruto's intervention. Alarmed, he ordered White Zetsu to report back to Obito, insisting, "Tell him to eliminate Naruto's original body. We can't let his clones keep interfering!"
Fourth Division Battlefield
On the Fourth Division front, Gaara, Ōnoki, and the Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi had joined forces against the reincarnated Second Mizukage, Gengetsu Hōzuki. Together, they dismantled his deadly Steam Imp technique and successfully sealed him.
Elsewhere, the battle between Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama raged on with terrifying intensity. Observing the battlefield widening out of control, Tobirama Senju—the Second Hokage—quickly created a Shadow Clone and began relocating nearby shinobi to avoid unnecessary casualties.
"Madara! That's enough!" Hashirama shouted.
Madara scoffed, "Hashirama, your ideals were never realistic. The only way to save this broken world is through the Eye of the Moon Plan! That's true salvation."
As Madara glanced toward Tobirama moving shinobi in the distance, his eyes narrowed. With a cold snort, he suddenly slashed toward Tobirama with his chakra-infused blade.
Hashirama reacted immediately, summoning a Wood Dragon to intercept the blow. With a thunderous crash, a cloud of smoke billowed into the air.
"Madara!" Hashirama barked. "You know what'll happen if we keep fighting like this!"
Madara sneered, "Are you trying to say I can't defeat you? You underestimate me, Hashirama. Ever since your death, I've been planning. I am no longer the man who once sat and talked with you about peace!"
As he spoke, Madara dismissed his Susano'o and leaped onto a craggy outcropping. Forming a string of hand seals, a cube-shaped Susano'o Ribcage formed around him.
Hashirama narrowed his eyes. What jutsu is this? I've never seen Madara use anything like it before.
With fervent eyes, Madara called out, "Let me show you the power of the Rinnegan!"
A resonating hum filled the air as a powerful technique activated. Hashirama's pupils widened in shock as he looked to the sky.
A massive meteorite descended from the heavens, blotting out the sun and casting a shadow over the battlefield.
Shinobi across the field looked up in horror.
"Is that... a Ninjutsu?!"
"No way! That's impossible!"
"Our power... we're not even on the same scale!"
"Are you kidding?! That thing fell because of chakra?!"
Hashirama yelled, "Madara, are you trying to kill yourself too?!"
Still seated cross-legged, Madara folded his arms across his chest. Seeing Hashirama's alarmed expression, he smirked, "Edo Tensei is a jutsu of the dead. You and I are immortal in this state. Even if we're crushed, we'll just regenerate. But those people around us? You'll have to protect them... while I don't."
A crazed glint flashed in his eyes. "How about I clean the stage for us? That way, we can finally fight uninterrupted!"
Hashirama gritted his teeth. "Madara, you're insane!"
Madara burst into maniacal laughter and remained seated, clearly enjoying the chaos he had unleashed.
Ōnoki soared overhead and shouted, "All shinobi—scatter immediately! Don't stand there! RUN!"
The shinobi on the ground began to flee in all directions in a panic.
Tobirama glanced coldly toward Madara, spat on the ground, and muttered, "Damn Uchiha… born to cause trouble."
Seeing no way to counter the meteor itself, Tobirama doubled down on his Flying Thunder God Technique, teleporting shinobi out of harm's way.
Ōnoki took to the skies, preparing to lighten the meteorite's weight.
Gaara raised both hands as massive Sand Arms erupted from the ground.
Hiruzen Sarutobi directed his subordinates while calling out, "Retreat! Don't stop—go!"
Meanwhile, Hashirama summoned the Wood Golem, positioning himself beneath the meteorite, ready to provide support if Gaara's sand couldn't hold it.
Ōnoki flew higher, bracing himself. "Earth Style: Super Light-Weight Boulder Jutsu!"
With a hum, the meteorite's descent slowed as its mass was drastically reduced.
Still seated, Madara leaned on one hand and commented idly, "This kid's improved. Looks like the new generation isn't entirely hopeless."
With combined efforts from Gaara and Ōnoki, the meteorite finally stopped midair.
Hashirama landed and nodded. "Well done, Ōnoki!"
Hearing praise from the legendary First Hokage, Ōnoki beamed with pride. To be acknowledged by Hashirama Senju... what greater honor is there?
Allied shinobi exhaled in relief—salvation had come just in time.
But Madara only chuckled ominously.
"Ōnoki, what do you plan to do about the second one?"
A distant rumble echoed through the sky.
Another meteor.
Hashirama and Tobirama both sensed it.
"Ōnoki, get out of there!!" Tobirama shouted in panic.
Hiruzen immediately leapt onto Gaara's Sand Hand, racing toward the airborne Tsuchikage.
And just as feared, a second meteor burst through the clouds, descending like divine punishment.
Ōnoki's limbs trembled under the strain, and his chakra faltered. His body buckled.
"Ōnoki!!"
Hiruzen caught him just in time and dashed toward the ground. Gaara, overwhelmed, groaned under the massive pressure. His knees buckled.
"Mokujin no Jutsu!" Hashirama roared, and the Wood Golem supported Gaara's defense.
Hashirama wasn't done yet.
He slammed his hands together. "Senpō: Mokuton — Shin Sūsenju!"
A colossal wooden statue with a thousand arms erupted from the ground, towering into the sky. Each hand launched skyward, smashing into the falling debris.
Hiruzen shouted while helping Ōnoki to safety, "Kazekage! Use your sand to block the fragments!"
Gaara nodded. His body was exhausted, but he summoned his strength to create a Sand Shield, blocking the majority of the shrapnel. Still, some debris struck nearby shinobi.
Tobirama teleported between injured comrades, dragging them away while commanding others to escape outward.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Countless wooden hands pummeled the meteorite from all sides. With a final crash, the giant rock shattered into pieces.
Smoke and dust filled the air.
The meteor crisis had been averted—barely.
Madara still sat with a serene expression, resting his face on one palm.
Smiling smugly, he looked at the panting Hashirama below and said, "You didn't have to go that far. All for your so-called peace… it's pathetic, Hashirama."
Then, Madara stood, his expression wild.
"I told you, Hashirama—you're mine!"
There was madness in his eyes—unfiltered obsession. He had thrown down the meteorite knowing full well that Hashirama wouldn't abandon the others, even if it meant exhausting himself.
And now, with his enemy weakened, it was time for Madara to strike
