Chapter 359 - Chapter 359: Love Rivals Are Extremely Popular When They Meet

This was Sakura's first time visiting Sasuke's home.

After she sat down inside the Uchiha household, Mikoto Uchiha warmly accompanied her, Fugaku sat beside his wife, and Sasuke sat silently across from her, with Itachi sitting near him.

Itachi glanced at Sakura, his lips curving into a faint smile.

Because Naruto had revealed to him in private that Sakura was destined to be Sasuke's wife in the future—and that they would even have a daughter named Sarada—Itachi naturally regarded Sakura with familiarity and respect, as though she were already part of the family.

Mikoto reached out and gently took Sakura's hand. Her expression softened as she said warmly:

"Sakura, I don't know why, but the moment I saw you, I felt such a strange sense of closeness in my heart. Almost like fate was drawing us together."

Sakura's cheeks flushed as she returned the warmth with a soft smile.

"Really, Auntie? That's exactly how I felt too. The moment I saw you, it was as though I had known you for a long time. There's such a familiar warmth about you."

Mikoto couldn't help but laugh joyfully at Sakura's words, clearly charmed by her son's guest.

Fugaku studied Sakura thoughtfully, then spoke in his deep, steady voice:

"Sakura, what brings you here today to see Sasuke?"

Sakura glanced shyly at Sasuke before answering:

"Oh! I originally wanted to ask Sasuke to go out for a walk with me… just to chat for a while."

But Sasuke, ever aloof, frowned and replied bluntly:

"I'm not free."

Mikoto clicked her tongue and glared sharply at her son.

Her thoughts boiled in frustration—This boy… why is his emotional intelligence so unbearably low? If a girl comes all this way just to spend time with you, that's practically a date! She's clearly showing her feelings, and you dismiss her so rudely?

Fugaku caught on as well. His sharp eyes narrowed slightly, realizing immediately that the girl sitting before them had obvious feelings for his son.

So, Fugaku intervened in his authoritative voice:

"Sasuke, she came all this way for you. Go out with her."

But Sasuke only shook his head stubbornly.

"I told you already—I'm not free. And besides… we've only just reunited as a family. Shouldn't I spend time here instead?"

Sakura's expression faltered. She quickly stood, bowing politely.

"I'm sorry, Auntie, I didn't mean to intrude on your reunion. I'll come back another time to visit Sasuke."

But Mikoto quickly reached out and caught her arm, smiling warmly.

"Oh no, Sakura, don't leave. My son is just… a bit clueless. Don't mind his coldness."

Itachi chuckled softly at the scene.

Sasuke's eyes narrowed in irritation.

"What are you laughing at, nii-san?"

Itachi composed himself, then said calmly:

"Sasuke, just go out with Sakura. Fate has already tied you together. You know this—Naruto must have told you."

Sasuke was left speechless.

Indeed, Naruto had told him about the future—that he and Sakura would become husband and wife and that they would raise a daughter named Sarada together. Sasuke knew it was true… yet he stubbornly cherished his freedom. He wasn't ready to settle into marriage so soon.

Mikoto's eyes widened with curiosity as she turned to Itachi.

"Itachi, what did you mean by that? Do you know something about Sakura and Sasuke's future?"

Itachi looked at Sakura with a knowing glance.

"Sakura, do you want to explain it to them yourself?"

Taking a deep breath, Sakura straightened her back. Since Itachi had given her this opening, she decided not to hide it.

"Uncle, Auntie… my name is Haruno Sakura. I am Sasuke's future wife. Together, we'll have a daughter named Sarada."

The words fell like thunder inside the room.

Mikoto and Fugaku both froze, stunned into silence.

Even Sasuke's eyes widened.

"Sakura… how do you know that?"

Sakura stuck out her tongue playfully.

"Why wouldn't I know? Naruto told me everything."

Mikoto looked between her two sons in disbelief.

"Itachi, Sasuke… is this really true?!"

Itachi gave a small nod and smiled reassuringly.

"Yes, Mother. It's true. Everything Naruto said about the future is accurate. After all, he has seen it firsthand."

Fugaku suddenly remembered something.

"That's right. When Naruto shared those memory projections with us, I saw a little girl with the Sharingan… Yes, that must have been Sasuke's child!"

Mikoto gasped in delight. Without hesitation, she embraced Sakura tightly.

"Oh, my sweet daughter-in-law!"

Sasuke's face darkened.

Damn you, Naruto… You just had to meddle in my life again!

Inwardly, he cursed Naruto a dozen times over.

Sakura, on the other hand, was glowing with happiness. In her past life, she had never been able to meet Sasuke's parents. But now, in this timeline, she had been accepted by them so warmly—it filled her heart with joy.

Fugaku smiled broadly, nodding in approval.

"Since you are bound to marry in the future anyway, why not move it forward? With Mikoto and I both alive in this timeline, we can hold a proper wedding for you."

Sasuke's expression turned to horror as he jumped to his feet.

"I don't agree!"

Sakura blinked, her voice trembling slightly.

"Sasuke-kun… You don't want to marry me?"

Sasuke quickly waved his hands.

"That's not it! It's just…"

Fugaku cut him off firmly.

"It's just that you're not getting any younger. You should marry sooner rather than later. The future is uncertain, and the threats from the Ōtsutsuki clan could descend at any moment. If children are to come, better they are born earlier and grow stronger sooner."

Mikoto nodded in strong agreement.

"Your father is right."

Sasuke rubbed his temples in frustration. He was only eighteen, and his family was already trying to marry him off.

Just then, a knock sounded at the door.

Boom. Boom. Boom.

Like a drowning man clutching at driftwood, Sasuke rushed to the entrance. But when he opened the door, his heart froze.

"Karin?! How did you even find this place—and what are you wearing?"

Karin stood there, radiant in a crimson strapless dress, her long red hair flowing around her shoulders. She looked stunning, deliberately exuding a mature, alluring aura.

"Sasuke-kun!!!"

She immediately threw herself against him, pressing her face into his chest and inhaling deeply, utterly ignoring the fact that his family was right behind him.

Normally, Sasuke tolerated Karin's clinginess. Back when they were in Taka, she often clung to him like this. But today was different—his parents were here, and so was Sakura.

Sakura's eyes narrowed dangerously. She stood at once, fists tightening.

Mikoto, Fugaku, and Itachi also rose, sensing the tension.

From their perspective, it looked like Karin was practically glued to Sasuke, while Sasuke awkwardly tried to pry her off.

"Karin, be more reserved! Stop this!" Sasuke hissed.

But Karin only tightened her hold, rubbing her cheek against his shoulder.

"Oh, Sasuke-kun!"

Sakura's jealousy flared uncontrollably.

"You tramp! Get off of Sasuke right now!"

Karin smirked, resting her chin on Sasuke's shoulder as she provocatively met Sakura's gaze.

"And who are you supposed to be? What right do you have to order me around?"

Sakura's fury exploded.

"If you don't let go of him right now, I'll smash you into the ground with one punch!"

Karin feigned fear, snuggling closer into Sasuke's chest.

"Oh, Sasuke, I'm scared. This woman is like a tigress! Not like me—I only want to care for you tenderly."

Sasuke was mortified.

Mikoto blinked in shock.

What's going on here? Will I end up with two daughters-in-law?

Fugaku, however, looked immensely proud.

As expected of my son!

Itachi watched with quiet amusement, impressed by his younger brother's unintended magnetism.

Sasuke realized things would spiral out of control if he didn't act fast. Sakura looked seconds away from unleashing her monstrous strength.

So he forcefully pulled Karin off him, scowling.

"Karin, stop this. What exactly are you trying to do?"

Karin glanced at the room—Sasuke's family, and more importantly, her love rival Sakura. She decided there was no point holding back.

Straightening herself, Karin declared openly:

"Sasuke, I'll be honest. After everything we went through together in Taka, you should already know how I feel. I love you. Every one of your movements, your eyes filled with sorrow, your skill with a blade—they've all captivated me. I've come here today to confess. I want to marry you!"

Sakura's fists shook in outrage.

"Shut up! Sasuke is mine! He's the one who will marry me!"

Karin narrowed her eyes coldly.

"Who can say for sure? Nothing has happened yet. For all you know, Sasuke might choose me in the end."

The air between the two women crackled with hostility. Their gazes locked like blades clashing.

And yet, in that fiery standoff, they both suddenly remembered Naruto's words:

"Sasuke will always be admired by many. You both need to understand… If Sasuke marries more than one person for the sake of the clan's prosperity, I hope you can accept it."

For a brief moment, their fury quieted as the weight of those words lingered.
