"Something happened?"
Konohamaru's words immediately shocked Naruto.
Something happened?
What happened?
Sasuke also heard the commotion. He put down his bowl and chopsticks and walked over to Naruto's side, his dark eyes narrowing.
Naruto looked at Konohamaru, his expression tense.
"What's going on? Tell me slowly!"
Konohamaru took a deep breath before speaking.
"The head of the Hyūga clan, Hyūga Hiashi-sama, is leading a group of Hyūga clan members and they're searching for you all over the village. Not only that… they're also marching straight towards your house, Naruto-nii!"
Naruto's brow furrowed in confusion.
"The head of the Hyūga clan? Why would Hiashi-sama come looking for me with his clan members?"
Konohamaru wiped the sweat from his forehead nervously.
"I've got some connections inside the Hyūga clan. My brother told me that word has spread that you—Naruto-nii—defiled the Hyūga clan's eldest daughter, Lady Hinata! They're coming to demand justice!"
Naruto's eyes widened in disbelief.
"W-What?! Is that true?!"
Konohamaru nodded gravely.
"It's absolutely true. The Hyūga clan is furious."
Off to the side, Sasuke suddenly burst into laughter. His usually cold demeanor cracked, and he doubled over, holding his stomach.
"Hahahaha! Naruto, you finally got yourself into a mess even I couldn't predict! Served you right!"
Sasuke's voice dripped with amusement. He looked utterly entertained by the situation.
"You wanted to play matchmaker for me? Now look at you—you've got your own retribution to deal with!"
Konohamaru, however, was panicked.
"Brother Naruto, you need to run! The Hyūga clan is headed to your home in force. They look ready for a fight!"
Naruto exhaled heavily, frustration showing on his face.
What the hell was happening? He hadn't even gotten close to Hinata like that, so why was this accusation suddenly thrown at him?
Konohamaru looked at Naruto hesitantly.
"Brother Naruto… you really didn't… with Sister Hinata…?"
Naruto immediately waved his hands.
"No! Of course not!"
Sasuke scoffed, his smirk widening.
"I don't believe it."
Naruto clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"I swear, I really didn't!"
Seeing Naruto's serious expression, Konohamaru quickly defended him.
"I believe you, Naruto-nii!"
Sasuke chuckled darkly.
"Konohamaru, it doesn't matter if you believe him. What matters is whether the Hyūga clan believes it!"
Naruto's expression twisted in irritation and helplessness.
Damn it… what the hell is going on?!
Then suddenly, a thought struck him. His eyes widened in realization.
Wait… could it be because last night Hinata had gone home wearing my clothes? If someone from the Hyūga clan saw her like that… then everything would've been completely misunderstood!
Naruto grit his teeth.
Damn it. Even if I jumped into the Naka River right now, I couldn't wash this misunderstanding away.
He clenched his fists.
Fine. I'll just go and explain the truth myself!
Without another word, Naruto ran to pay for the ramen and immediately prepared to rush back home with Konohamaru.
Sasuke followed, smirking.
Naruto frowned.
"What are you coming for?"
Sasuke gave him a cold chuckle.
"I want to see how you handle this. Consider it entertainment."
Naruto rolled his eyes at his teammate. He knew Sasuke was just there to see him suffer.
Fine. Whatever. Let him come.
And so, Naruto, Sasuke, and Konohamaru all ran off toward Naruto's house.
Meanwhile, in the Hyūga Clan Compound
Neji stood guard, his stern pale eyes fixed on Hinata. Hanabi sat beside her, restless.
"Brother Neji, please let me go! Otherwise, I'm worried about Father and the others…"
Neji shook his head firmly.
"No. The clan head gave me explicit orders to guard you carefully, Lady Hinata. You don't need to worry—Clan Head Hiashi-sama is only going to demand an explanation. Nothing more."
Hinata frowned softly, her worry clear on her face. She didn't want her father putting undue pressure on Naruto.
Hanabi noticed her sister's expression, her young mind already scheming. She rolled her eyes, then leaned close to whisper something into Hinata's ear.
Hinata nodded lightly but stayed quiet.
Neji, however, wasn't fooled.
"Don't even think about scheming. Nothing can escape my Byakugan."
Hanabi huffed and crossed her arms, glaring at him.
A moment later, Neji performed a hand seal.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu."
A clone appeared beside him. It left the room briefly, returning with a plate of food.
Hanabi pouted, but still reached for the food. She fed a little to Hinata before eating some herself.
After finishing, Hanabi yawned.
"I'm sleepy."
Hinata smiled faintly.
"Me too."
Hanabi nodded and pulled her sister along.
"Let's sleep, then, Nee-san."
The two slipped under the blanket together. Hanabi stuck her tongue out playfully at Neji before burying herself under the quilt with Hinata.
Neji frowned slightly. He activated his Byakugan and checked through the quilt. Both sisters appeared to be resting peacefully. Maybe he was worrying too much.
More than ten minutes passed without incident. Neji relaxed, sitting cross-legged on the ground and closing his eyes to meditate.
A few minutes later, Hanabi stirred. She peeked her head out of the blanket, rubbing her eyes.
"Ugh… I need to pee."
Hinata quickly stood up.
"I'll go with you, Hanabi."
But Neji's eyes snapped open immediately.
"You're not allowed to go together. Separate!"
He performed another hand seal.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu."
The clone appeared again and led Hanabi to the bathroom, while Hinata reluctantly lay back on the bed.
"I'm doing this for your own safety, Lady Hinata," Neji said firmly. "Don't try any tricks."
His clone escorted Hanabi to the bathroom. Since it was inappropriate for a male to accompany her inside, Hanabi entered alone.
A minute later, "Hanabi" walked out and followed the clone back.
Back in the room, she lay beside Hinata again. Neji let out a sigh of relief, reassured that everything was under control.
But what Neji didn't realize was that this "Hanabi" wasn't Hanabi at all.
At that very moment, a small head peeked out from the bathroom door—it was the real Hanabi. She looked around quickly, then hurried toward the courtyard wall and climbed over it with surprising agility.
With a puff of smoke, her appearance changed.
Poof!
The transformation released, revealing that the "Hanabi" who had gone to the bathroom was actually Hinata disguised by the Transformation Jutsu.
And the "Hanabi" who had returned earlier? That was actually a Shadow Clone created by Hinata while still transformed!
The real Hinata was now outside the compound, running with all her strength toward Naruto's house.
Outside Naruto's Home
The Hyūga clan had gathered in large numbers, standing in front of Naruto's residence. The commotion had drawn curious neighbors, who whispered among themselves.
A Hyūga clansman shouted toward the house angrily.
"Naruto! Come out! Don't you dare hide if you've got the guts!"
Another echoed.
"Yes! Come out and face us!"
But instead of Naruto, the ones who emerged were none other than Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki.
"Who the hell is making such a racket outside my son's home?!" Kushina demanded furiously, leaping from the window. Her fiery temper was on full display.
Hyūga Hiashi froze at the sight of her.
"Is that… Kushina-sama?"
Kushina narrowed her eyes at him, then smirked.
"Oh, so it's Hiashi. And… Hizashi too?"
Hiashi's twin brother, Hyūga Hizashi, stepped forward and gave a polite nod.
"That's right. I didn't expect that you, Kushina-sama, would also be resurrected."
At that moment, a golden flash appeared. Minato joined his wife outside, standing calmly but firmly.
The Hyūga clan members, who had been loud and aggressive moments ago, immediately froze. Their arrogance evaporated at the sight of him.
"Lord Fourth Hokage…"
"Minato-sama…"
The whispers spread quickly through the gathered crowd.
After all, Minato was not only the Fourth Hokage of Konohagakure, but also the hero who had once saved the entire village.
And beside him stood Kushina, the former Nine-Tails Jinchūriki.
With these two resurrected legends before them, the Hyūga clan's cries for vengeance suddenly turned into respectful greetings.
The once hostile atmosphere shifted, filled instead with hesitation and unease.
