Inside Karin's residence…
Sasuke was gently guided by Karin to sit at the main table. He looked at Sakura and Karin standing before him, a mixture of surprise and apprehension on his face.
"What are you… planning to do?" he asked cautiously.
Karin smiled teasingly. "What do you want to do? Aren't you always so brave, Sasuke?"
Sasuke froze. He was brave in battle, fearless in the field… but he realized he could never match this kind of courage.
Sakura, standing nearby, felt a twinge of nervousness. She had been arguing with Karin about where Sasuke would eat tonight, but Sasuke, impatient with their bickering, had simply told them both to shut up. He wasn't going anywhere—he just wanted to go home.
Karin had, however, stopped Sasuke and insisted he wait as she spoke privately with Sakura. After their brief conversation, Sakura had reluctantly joined forces with Karin, and together, the two of them had brought Sasuke here.
With no other option, Karin turned to Sakura. "Do you want to be with Sasuke?"
Sakura's eyes sparkled as she nodded. "Of course! I've liked Sasuke since we were kids!"
Karin studied her for a moment, then said with a sly grin, "Alright. If you like Sasuke and want to be together, then you must be brave enough to follow through."
Sakura didn't hesitate to affirm. Karin continued speaking, and once she finished, Sakura was gently guided into the room.
Standing before Sasuke, Sakura glanced at Karin awkwardly. "Do we… really have to do this?"
Karin rolled her eyes. "If you don't want to, you can leave now."
"No, I do! I do!" Sakura replied quickly, her determination clear. She had adored Sasuke for so many years, and this rare opportunity could not be missed.
After all, as children, anyone who approached Sasuke would spark Sakura's jealousy. And now, with Sasuke right in front of her and Karin promising to help, there was no way she would let this chance slip by.
At that moment, a ding-dong rang from the door. Karin glanced back, smiling. "That must be it!"
She moved to the door and opened it to find a deliveryman from a well-known Konoha restaurant standing there.
"Hello, this is the meal you ordered!"
Karin accepted the delivery with a smile. "Thank you very much!"
After taking the food inside, she turned to Sakura. "Sakura, go ahead and pay."
Sakura quickly realized and muttered, "Oh…" before walking over to settle the bill and closing the door behind her. Meanwhile, Karin had already placed the dishes on the table.
Sasuke frowned at the spread before him. "Karin… what are you doing?"
Karin ignored him, heading to the storage room to fetch two boxes of shochu. She set them on the table with a thud and wiped her brow. "Sakura, come here!"
Sakura walked over obediently. Karin opened the boxes and carefully arranged the bottles, nearly filling the table. Turning to Sasuke, she grinned. "Sasuke, today there are two of us. The choice is yours: either you get us drunk, or Sakura and I get you drunk. Choose wisely."
Sakura nodded in agreement, her excitement apparent.
Sasuke spread his hands helplessly. "Is there really no other option?"
Karin popped the lid of a shochu bottle with a snap of her teeth. "Sasuke, you might try hiding today, but you won't escape tomorrow!"
Sakura chimed in, her voice sweet but firm, "That's right!"
Sasuke sighed deeply. There truly was no way to evade the evening's festivities. He would have to see it through, no matter what.
And so, the three of them began eating. Karin, ever strategic, looked for opportunities to press Sasuke into drinking.
"Come on, Sasuke, drink!" she urged.
"Karin, stop! I haven't even finished my drink yet!" he protested.
Karin laughed, teasing him mercilessly. "Drink it quickly! You're a man, yet you drink like a woman. Hurry!"
Sasuke, having no choice, downed the drink in one gulp, his face twisting with discomfort. Sakura, ever attentive, picked up her chopsticks and placed a piece of food into Sasuke's bowl, smiling gently. "Sasuke, take a bite and calm yourself a bit."
"Thank you, Sakura," Sasuke muttered quietly.
Karin, watching him finish his meal, immediately refilled her glass. "Come on, Sasuke, since you've eaten, have a drink!"
Sasuke blinked, his confusion evident.
Through three rounds of drinks and five different dishes, Karin dominated the drinking game, as Sakura had a low tolerance. Despite taking hangover medicine in advance, Sakura was spared excessive drinking; after all, she was the centerpiece of the evening.
Sasuke, ill-equipped for alcohol to begin with, grew increasingly disoriented. Karin's relentless encouragement eventually left him slumped on the table, half-asleep.
Karin, cheeks flushed with her own indulgence, gently patted Sasuke. "Sasuke… wake up and drink! This won't work otherwise!"
Seeing him still unconscious, Karin turned to Sakura, smirking. "Your turn, Sakura!"
Sakura's heart raced at the sight of Sasuke lying before her. She could feel her face flush with desire.
Karin's teasing voice echoed, "Sakura, what are you waiting for? He's right in front of you!"
Sakura murmured softly twice, "Oh… oh…" before gently helping Sasuke to his feet. She cast a final glance at Karin, who gave her a subtle nod of approval. Sakura seemed resolute, and with a quiet "Hmm," she guided Sasuke into the bedroom.
With a soft click, the door closed.
Karin poured herself another glass, chuckling. "Sakura, now it's your turn to take the initiative."
