In the evening, after dinner, Kakashi walked Shizune home, gently holding her hand.
"How about it? I'll give you face today and praise you all the time in front of your dad!"
Kakashi looked at Shizune with a smile. "Well, that's good. You did give me face. Thank you, Shizune, for always saying good things about me in front of my dad."
Shizune giggled. "Hehe!"
Kakashi asked, "Lady Tsunade's wedding is tomorrow. Do you want to get up early?"
Shizune nodded. "Yes, I have to get up early. I originally planned to go there tonight, but since I wanted to have dinner with you, I asked Sakura, Ino, and Tenten to help Lady Tsunade. So I'll get up at four o'clock tomorrow morning and arrive at Lady Tsunade's house at five."
"Then I'll help Lady Tsunade prepare everything. And I'll ask the makeup artist to touch up my makeup tomorrow because I want to be the bridesmaid!"
Kakashi nodded.
"By the way," Shizune asked, "what time will you get up tomorrow?"
"I don't have to be as early as you," Kakashi replied. "I can get up at five-thirty. I'll go to the Hokage's office a little after six, have a meeting with everyone, make arrangements, and then go to the village entrance to meet the other Kage."
Shizune wondered aloud, "When Naruto got married, didn't they always arrive early? Why aren't they coming early this time?"
Kakashi smiled slightly. "Because Naruto said there's no need to go through all that trouble this time. He can use the Flying Thunder God Technique to teleport them over. After attending the wedding banquet, they definitely won't leave that night—they'll stay for one night. Then the next day, Naruto will teleport all of them back."
Shizune nodded. "So that's it. I understand."
Kakashi looked at her again. "By the way, Lord Jiraiya doesn't have his own house. Isn't the current wedding room just Lady Tsunade's house? Since it's Lady Tsunade's home, how can we welcome the bride properly?"
Shizune answered, "This issue has already been discussed. We rented a room at a hotel in Konoha to serve as Lady Tsunade's temporary wedding room. Then Lord Jiraiya will leave from Lady Tsunade's house, go to the hotel to meet her, and then return together with Lady Tsunade."
"Oh!" Kakashi nodded thoughtfully.
As they continued walking, they eventually arrived at Shizune's door. She held Kakashi's hand and pouted. "I won't keep you. Everyone has things to do tomorrow."
"Yes," Kakashi said. "The focus tomorrow is the marriage between Lord Jiraiya and Lady Tsunade. You can go back."
Shizune nodded. "Kiss me."
Kakashi took the initiative and kissed her. After the kiss, the two separated reluctantly.
Kakashi walked toward his home, finally relieved that he could sleep early tonight. Over the past days, he had spent several nights with Shizune. Although Kakashi enjoyed it very much and felt great…
Even a bull needs to rest. If this continues, he'll die!
Tonight, Kakashi could sleep alone.
Very awesome!
He thought so proudly.
At home, White Fang was still washing dishes and was in a great mood. Based on the current pace, Kakashi and Shizune's wedding day was just around the corner. He never expected that he, White Fang, would live long enough to see his son get married—and even see a grandson someday.
Meanwhile, at the hotel—
Sakura and Ino were designing the decorations, while Tenten supervised.
"Hey, Neji," Tenten said, "your happy sign is a little crooked. Can you open your eyes properly and position it more accurately?"
Neji glared. "That's not something I do with my Byakugan."
Ignoring his complaint, Tenten turned to Rock Lee. "Lee, go over there and pull the banner higher. Let me see the length!"
Rock Lee saluted dramatically. "No problem!"
Shikamaru and Choji were also helping.
Shikamaru sighed. "Hey, isn't this style too flashy?"
Choji shrugged. "Isn't red supposed to be lucky?"
Shikamaru frowned. "It's plastered everywhere… it'll be annoying to take down later."
Ino glared at them. "This is Lady Tsunade and Lord Jiraiya's wedding! What's the trouble? Even if it's troublesome, we still have to do it! Right, Sakura?"
Sakura nodded. "That's right."
Shikamaru sighed and asked Sakura, "Where's Sasuke?"
Sakura looked down at her work and muttered, "Naruto and I were working over there."
Ino rolled her eyes. "My Sai is working over there, too! I didn't complain and run off to be with him. Unlike someone who wants to stick to Naruto."
Shikamaru chuckled. Honestly, he also wanted to hang out with Naruto.
Meanwhile, at Jiraiya's temporary residence—
Downstairs, Naruto, Hinata, Sasuke, Kiba, Shino, and Sai were finishing the decorations.
Everything was basically done already, but Naruto insisted on helping more for his teacher's wedding.
Upstairs, Minato and Kushina were present as well.
Jiraiya was trying on his formal suit. After adjusting it, he stood proudly in front of Minato.
"Well?" Jiraiya asked. "How do I look, Minato?"
Minato examined him. "Wow… Jiraiya-sensei, you look very handsome."
Kushina nodded. "You look very manly, Lord Jiraiya."
Jiraiya laughed proudly.
Tsunade rolled her eyes. This man was always narcissistic.
Jiraiya moved to the mirror again. "It's really handsome! I am me—different fireworks!"
While he continued admiring himself, Hinata's voice came from downstairs: "Lady Tsunade, the people from the bridal shop are here!"
Tsunade stood and approached them. The staff brought in the wedding gown.
"Lady Tsunade, this is the wedding dress you ordered."
"Alright," she said. "Come with me. I need to leave soon anyway."
Naruto turned to Hinata. "Hinata, please accompany Lady Tsunade."
Hinata nodded. "Okay, no problem."
Tsunade said her goodbyes upstairs, then, accompanied by Hinata, left with the bridal shop staff for the hotel, where she would stay the night in preparation for tomorrow morning.
Back downstairs, Naruto instructed Sasuke to do more work.
Sasuke frowned. "I'm not good at this."
Kiba grinned. "Sasuke, aren't you the best at finding flaws? Use your Sharingan!"
Sasuke stared, speechless.
Was this guy serious? Use the Sharingan for decorations?
Sai turned to Naruto. "Naruto, Ino said there will be four bridesmaids tomorrow—Sakura, Ino, Lady Shizune, and Tenten. What about the best men?"
Naruto continued working as he spoke. "That's easy. Many of us are single, so picking someone isn't hard. And since Pervy Sage has high status, ordinary people can't be best men for him.
"Orochimaru will definitely attend—he's Lord Jiraiya's old friend. Iruka-sensei too. Kakashi is Hokage; if he's busy, he can't join. I'm married, so I can't either.
"So out of the remaining people, I picked Shikamaru and Neji. Both have prestige and represent strong clans."
Sai nodded and went back to work.
As for Kiba, Shino, and the others, they didn't have enough status to serve as Lord Jiraiya's best men. They could only be Naruto's best men in Naruto's wedding.
Kiba then mentioned, "I'm planning to wear a suit tomorrow. But last time I put it on, Akamaru barked nonstop!"
Naruto blinked. "Why?"
Kiba laughed. "Because I was so handsome Akamaru couldn't recognize me! Hahaha!"
Shino pushed up his glasses. "Perhaps you looked so strange in the suit that Akamaru thought you weren't human."
Kiba exploded. "Hey, Shino! If you don't speak, no one will treat you like a mute!"
Everyone burst into laughter—even Sasuke cracked a smile.
