Naruto held the microphone and proudly lifted his necklace for everyone to see.
Hashirama narrowed his eyes, leaned forward, and then exclaimed in surprise, "Isn't that my necklace? I remember giving it to Tsunade when she was young! Oh—so Tsunade must've passed it down to Naruto!"
Tobirama shot Hashirama a sideways look and muttered, "Brother, your reaction is unbelievably late."
Madara sighed loudly. "He hasn't changed. He's been this dumb forever."
Tobirama rolled his eyes at Madara. "I can call out my brother if I want. You don't get to say it."
Izuna slapped the table. "What's that supposed to mean, Tobirama? Can't you let things go on a day like this?"
Hashirama quickly raised both hands. "Hey, hey! Tobirama, sit down! Izuna, sit down too!"
Izuna obeyed instantly.
During the past days of interacting with Hashirama, Izuna finally understood why Madara had once cared so deeply for him. Hashirama truly was someone who was kindhearted, sincere, and unbelievably easy to get along with.
And because of Madara, Hashirama treated Izuna as if he were his own younger brother.
Tobirama, however, was a different story. He had always held prejudice against the Uchiha.
Naturally, Izuna and Tobirama never got along.
Madara took a long breath and exhaled slowly before calling Izuna over to eat.
The Third Hokage sat quietly on the side.
All of these people outrank me… it's better not to get involved at all.
Onstage, after Naruto finished speaking, he raised the microphone once more and shouted his final blessing:
"Finally, I wish Jiraiya-sensei and Granny Tsunade to have a son soon and stay united forever!"
The audience erupted into cheers and applause.
Naruto handed the microphone to Kakashi and hopped off the stage.
Kakashi walked forward, smiling, microphone in hand.
He cleared his throat. "Everyone, through Naruto's words, we've come to understand more about Jiraiya and Tsunade. Even I've gained a deeper understanding of the two of them today."
His calm, magnetic voice carried emotion. After a brief pause, he continued, "Now, let us begin the marriage ceremony. Please welcome the Third Hokage to the stage to witness the marriage of Jiraiya and Tsunade!"
More applause thundered across the hall as the Third Hokage approached the podium, steps steady and dignified. His eyes softened with pride and nostalgia.
Sakura approached with a tray holding the wedding certificate.
The Third Hokage gave Sakura a gentle smile, then picked up the certificate and opened it carefully. Kakashi stepped up beside him, lifting the microphone so the Third Hokage could speak.
The old Hokage began, voice warm and steady:
"Today, we gather to witness the marriage of two great shinobi. Jiraiya and Tsunade have long been pillars of our village. Their story is one of courage and companionship. Their bond has survived countless trials—on battlefields and in life. And today, their paths have finally united."
Jiraiya and Tsunade stared at each other, eyes full of emotion. Their hands tightened together, declaring wordlessly that nothing would ever break them again.
"As your teacher," the Third Hokage continued, "I hope you never forget this day. Remember the promises you make to each other. Whatever trials await in the future, face them together. Now, let us all bless Jiraiya and Tsunade and wish them a lifetime of happiness."
Thunderous applause shook the hall.
Tsunade and Jiraiya bowed deeply to him, tears shining in their eyes. Then they turned and bowed to the entire audience.
Hashirama nearly burst into tears himself. His granddaughter—the last surviving heir of the Senju bloodline—was finally married.
Orochimaru, surprisingly, was also moved. These two had been his closest comrades once. Watching them take this step touched even him.
Naruto clapped energetically, while Hinata leaned against his shoulder, smiling softly at Jiraiya and Tsunade.
Sakura and Shizune watched with pride—after all, both had been personally trained by Lady Tsunade.
When the marriage proclamation ended, the Third Hokage stepped back.
Kakashi returned to the center of the stage. "Now, I invite the newlyweds to exchange rings!"
Music swelled. Wedding bells echoed across the village as the atmosphere filled with warmth.
Ino approached carrying a crimson tray with two shining rings. She stopped before the couple.
Tsunade, stunning in her white dress, raised her hand. Jiraiya gently slid the ring onto her finger.
For a moment, time itself held still.
Kakashi watched with misty eyes. He remembered their years of training, of war, of hope and sorrow. To see them here now filled him with a rare warmth.
Jiraiya and Tsunade gazed at each other with quiet devotion. Their love had been battered by tragedy and time—yet here they stood.
They caressed each other's hands, wordlessly vowing to face whatever came next together.
Kakashi wiped the corner of his eye.
He knew this love would never break.
"Please exchange rings!" he announced again.
They turned and slipped the rings onto each other's fingers.
The auditorium seemed to fade away, leaving only the sound of their breaths.
Kakashi took a deep breath. "Now… the groom may kiss the bride."
Jiraiya and Tsunade leaned in slowly, eyes closing as their lips met in a gentle, lingering kiss.
The entire village exploded in cheers.
Kakashi raised his hand. "Everyone, bless the newlyweds and wish them happiness forever!"
More cheers. More applause. Jiraiya and Tsunade bowed gratefully to everyone, their faces glowing with joy.
"The ceremony is complete," Kakashi announced. "Everyone may head to your seats for the banquet."
Tsunade left briefly to change. When she emerged, Jiraiya stood waiting for her. She smiled the moment she saw him, and Jiraiya felt his heart twist—Tsunade had never looked more beautiful.
The banquet began.
Sai moved around managing decorations, guests, and schedules.
Somehow, he felt like he could open a full wedding business someday.
Naruto grabbed a wine bottle and waved the others over. "Hurry up and drink!"
Neji loosened his tie. "It's finally over… I've already been the best man twice."
Kiba laughed. "So who's next? One of you better go soon!"
Everyone glanced at each other. Shino adjusted his glasses. "If you all get married together, it'll save us trips."
Kiba nodded. "That… is actually smart."
Chōji ignored them and continued eating happily.
Ino, Sakura, Tenten, and Shizune joined the table. All bridesmaids, all exhausted.
Sasuke sat silently beside them, quietly eating. Sakura glanced at him but said nothing.
While everyone chatted, Jiraiya and Tsunade approached with drinks.
"Thank you all for today," Jiraiya said warmly.
They toasted each table—from Hashirama's, to the Hokage office, to the clan tables of Hyuga, Nara, Akimichi, Yamanaka, Sarutobi, and more.
Tsunade raised her glass toward Naruto's group. "Come on, little ones!"
Naruto stood quickly, leading the group in raising their glasses.
"I wish Jiraiya and Tsunade a happy marriage forever!"
Smiles spread across the entire table as they toasted loudly.
Jiraiya laughed heartily. The blessings of these younger shinobi—the generation he watched grow—meant more to him than anything.
