[The Homelander: A bioengineered entity from the Amazon dimension, combining human DNA with Vought Corporation's Compound V. Displays high intelligence, strength, defense, speed, and heightened sensory perception with no discernible weaknesses. Biological Grade: S.]
The Homelander...
If Lucius remembered correctly, this guy was a superhuman from an alternate universe.
Back when he lacked access to this kind of detailed data interface, his gene signature, visibly human, was barely noticeable amidst the sea of grotesque and bizarre creatures.
But now, with classification tiers displayed so clearly, the Homelander's S-rank stood out like a beacon.
Lucius, who had been quite into superhero lore in his previous life, knew exactly who this was. The Homelander wasn't from the Marvel Universe or the DC Multiverse. He belonged to a darker, lesser-known antihero setting.
His powers were essentially on par with DC's Superman, super strength, flight, near-invulnerability, but with key differences.
The Homelander wasn't Kryptonian, had no weakness to Kryptonite or magic, and most importantly, lacked any true moral compass. Beneath the patriotic costume and polished hero image lurked a ruthless, manipulative killer.
An unstoppable "Superman" with no weaknesses and a sociopath's heart, what could be more terrifying? Especially when he was the star of Vought's empire, a darling of political elites, and an idol worshipped by millions.
And his enemies? Just a ragtag group of powerless, ordinary humans...
Lucius had never learned how the Homelander met his end in that story before his transmigration. But now, here in this new world, he could speculate.
Aside from this S-tier genetic entity, there were 300,000 other randomly generated genomes, less than twenty were ranked A-tier, around ten thousand fell into B-tier, and the rest were even lower.
By that metric, drawing the Homelander's gene profile was absurdly lucky, almost miraculously so.
After all, in the vast Pokémon world, where millions of species existed, only Arceus was classified as S-tier.
Lucius's eyes drifted toward some of the creatures that had caught his attention earlier. One in particular, a golden-furred, four-limbed beast with a humanlike face and a single horn, now displayed its data:
[Golden Beast: A monster from the Journey to the West dimension. Possesses human-level intelligence upon maturation, with high strength and speed. Potential for cultivation into a full-fledged demon. Biological Grade: B.]
Then there was the radiant, angelic being with pristine white wings, standing nearly three meters tall:
[Angel Sariel: From the Heroes of Might and Magic dimension, under the Haven faction. A champion-ranked unit serving the True God of Light, Elrath. Fast, powerful, and a wielder of Light magic. Capable of casting Holy Light and resurrection within Elrath's divine realm. Biological Grade: B-.]
So she was from Heroes of Might and Magic, a game Lucius had played in his past life.
Still, that final line stood out: "Capable of resurrection and casting Holy Light within Elrath's divine realm." In other words, outside the influence of Elrath's godpower, she lost those abilities.
A clear manifestation of the laws of her dimension.
Then there was the upright creature with a hunchback, resembling a cross between a human and a dinosaur. Its entry stunned him even more:
[Urdnot Ustath: A Krogan from Tuchanka, a reptilian bipedal species from the Mass Effect dimension. Highly intelligent, masterful in combat, with strong adaptability and reproductive capabilities. Biological Grade: C.]
Compared to the angel and the demon beast, this Krogan's grade was notably lower. But that didn't mean he was weak, not in the ways that mattered.
In the source material, the Krogans hailed from the planet Tuchanka in the Milky Way Galaxy. They had once reigned as the planet's dominant species until a global nuclear war plunged their world into a nuclear winter, nearly wiping them out.
Later, an advanced alien race uplifted the Krogans, restored their civilization, and brought them into the interstellar community. In return, the Krogans served as frontline warriors during the galaxy's war against the insectoid Reapers.
But after the war ended, the Krogans' population exploded. Their aggression and rapid reproduction became a new threat. The galactic powers responded by deploying a genophage, an engineered bioweapon that crippled Krogan fertility. Generation after generation, their numbers dwindled, pushing their once-proud species to the brink of extinction.
In short: a warrior race of high intelligence, high technology, and deep trauma.
The fact that Lucius's system could pull Krogan genes from that dimension implied the Celestial Council's reach extended even to that universe's "Galactic UN," the Citadel Council.
And that placed the Celestial Council above even the interstellar powers of that world. A metadimensional authority.
Among the remaining 300,000 gene samples, Lucius also recognized many from other universes, giant Sea Kings from the One Piece world, toad summoning beasts from Naruto, dragonhawks from the Warcraft dimension, and darkspawn from Dragon Age, with their zombie-like taint.
The benefits of full data integration were obvious. Everything was clearer now.
But if Arceus was already S-tier… where did his Old One Virus stand?
"System," Lucius asked, "how does my virus rank under the Celestial Council's classification?"
[Leviathan Virus: S-tier microbial strain.]
[Old One Virus: Conceptual-level lifeform. Classification: Main Deity-tier.]
[Your current title, 'Executor of the Virus Evolution System,' is equivalent to a Main Deity designation."]
Lucius frowned slightly. "So what's the exact difference between A, S, and divine-level ranks?"
[Grade A corresponds to Demigod, entities who wield partial divinity or godlike traits.]
[Grade S corresponds to True Deity, beings with complete divinity, capable of crafting rules and attaining immortality within those rules.]
[Above S lies the Main Deity tier, entities who surpass ordinary gods in rulecraft, capable of shaping divine laws and attaining eternal life within them.]
[Beyond that is the God-King tier, those who transcend even Main Deity-level frameworks and can mold realms aligned with God-King-level rules, gaining indestructibility.]
[Beyond the God-King tier lies the Cosmic Sovereign level, beings who transcend all multiversal systems, capable of forging the supreme rules of the cosmos itself. Eternal, immortal, and unbound by life or death.]
[Above Cosmic Sovereigns… is unknown.]
So… the Old One Virus he now possessed was Main Deity-tier?
That meant above him still loomed the God-King and the Cosmic Sovereign levels...
I see. When framed through the lens of the Pokémon universe, these tiers made perfect sense.
Take Ho-Oh and Rayquaza, for example, legendary beings born from celestial forces. They possessed some divine qualities, but weren't True Deity. They'd count as Demigods.
Whereas Arceus, bearer of complete world-will and shaper of this realm's foundational laws, was a True Deity, immortal within the rules of His creation.
