I had planned to release a new chapter today, but with what's unfolding in Gaza and the attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla, I can't simply carry on as if nothing is happening. With the small platform I have, I feel a responsibility to speak up and draw attention to this moment.


I stand with the starving people of Palestine. Israel's decision to attack a flotilla of activists carrying humanitarian aid is not only immoral and cruel it is a blatant violation of international law. To stay silent about that would make me complicit in the what is being inflicted upon millions of innocent people. 


I urge every one of you who read my story, wherever you may live, to contact your representatives and governments. Demand that they defend international law and protect those who risk themselves to deliver aid. The world is watching, and history will stand with the flotilla. Their bravery will inspire even more people to join the global movement against the genocide of the Palestinian people.
