Chapter 20 - Dangerous Thoughts

"Sorry but you met the wrong person today. I was not trapped with you. You were trapped with me.

Kill for me." Tim said.

The newly revived undead instantly charged at the wounded horned snake. Before it even reached the last horned snake, it shot out a projectile of acidic spit towards the snake's retreat path.

The horned snake cornered, decided to also charge at the healthy undead snake. Unfortunately, it could not gather enough momentum for its charge and when they both collided.

They last snake was knocked back and it was slammed into a tree. BAM

The undead snake, taking advantage of the last snake being down. Decided to start shooting out multiple projectiles of acidic spit at the downed snake.

The last snake roared from the pain, but it could not do anything. It was bombarded with a continuous assault of acidic spit.

Not long after the last out of the four snakes died.

"Well. You were really good out there. I did not think a mere snake could show such tenacity. You impressed me." Tim said, as he walked over to the snake.

He wanted to absorb the last snake that died but he couldn't. he only had two slots available for his Dead Summons. Because of that restriction he could not add a third summon, but he could swap out his summons and replace them freely.

He reached the undead snake and observed its body. It was truly a replica. The only difference between its current body and its body back when it was alive, was the symbol that was on its body.

He stopped using death embrace then he summoned the other Dead summon.

Now in his front were 2 undead horned snakes that were massive and towering over Tim. He could already fantasize about how strong he was going to be. But the thing was that he could not get comfortable.

He was not the only one with a system, he was not the only one with a unique blessing. Heck if his current life was a story then he would not be a protagonist in the story because of how weak he was currently.

If he wanted to be strong then he needed cheat like skills. He suddenly had a thought.

None of his skill description ever mentioned him having a limit to what he could revive. Did it mean that he could revive gods or even champions that he kills.

It then dawned on him, if he could revive champions after killing them, would he get their system also. The thought sent shivers down his entire body.

Most necromancer story that he read during his critique days mostly focused on reviving monsters. He was going to change the game.

Why revive monsters only and have an army of monsters when he could revive just go on a spree and revive champions with their broken systems.

If he had an army of champions then it would alleviate him to be the strongest in this world that he was in.

He just needed a single champion to test his theory on.

He climbed on top the head of one of his undead snakes. And he looked around, he was trying to find his way out but he couldn't find one.

After checking for some minutes his thoughts on this place that he was currently in became concrete that he was in a dungeon.

If what he read about dungeons were true especially according to the last book that he read before he was transmigrated. Then there were only two ways to leave a dungeon.

It was either he killed the boss monster or he found the escape stone and he used it.

But in all honesty, there was no way that he was going to use the escape stone if he found it. The more monsters that he hunted then the more level up that he would get.

He did not really need to cultivate or meditate like that. The system he had already helped him to do that by giving him experience points when he takes the life of monsters.

He did not even worry much about his 0 mana. Even if he can't cast spells or learn skills on his own. He could always get them without even making an effort to learn them.

All he needed to do was to use his Death Embrace skill and he would get all skills and spells. The lucky thing about the matter for Tim was that he didn't even think that he would require mana to cast a spell that he was taking from his dead summon.

Well, he could not just summarise and assume all that yet. He had to first have his first test subjects to test his theories.

"Take me to your boss." Tim said, as the snakes started to move towards a particular direction. It was the direction from which Tim woke up.

They reached a massive tree and the snakes indicated that this was the location of the boss of the dungeon.

Tim did not know how the snakes thoughts entered his heard but he just naturally understood them when they were communicating with him.

He noted another thing about his necromancy blessing. He could communicate with his summons and they can communicate back.

It was an interesting fact for Tim. It was not that he craved someone or something to talk to. He just thought about the possibilities that could be achieved by him efficiently communicating to his summons.

Heck, he could even send them on missions or for them to scout for him. all these things opened up a lot of possibilities for him.

He looked around the giant tree and search for the boss monster, but he could not find the boss monster.

His undead snakes were indicating that the snake was presently here that they could feel him but he could not see anything.

He suddenly felt something. The feeling a prey gets when a predator was fixated on it.
