"Why are you stopping me from seeing my wife?!" Edmund's voice roared from behind the door. "Move, or I swear I'll throw you out of the palace myself!"
Primrose hadn't expected Edmund to return to the palace so soon. She thought he'd be back in the late afternoon or maybe even at night, at least after making sure there were no more threats around the palace.
However, her thoughts immediately scattered when she saw the sky outside the window had already turned red.
How was that possible?
Hadn't she only been in that memory for a little while? Raven had told her that time moved faster in memories compared to the real world.
Sensing Primrose's confusion, Raven immediately said, "Time in a memory does feel faster, Your Majesty, but that doesn't mean it only lasted a few minutes in the real world."
In truth, Primrose had been gone long enough for the afternoon to fade into early evening. It made sense. But her thoughts were no longer on time.
