What if something happened to her, and it wasn't just Leofric's test?
"I don't think you need to worry about that anymore, husband." Primrose pulled the towel aside just enough to see Edmund's face. "If no one could save me … then I think I could save myself."
The first time she used her mind-control ability, it might have seemed like a coincidence. But when it happened a second, a third, and even more times afterward, Primrose could no longer call it an accident.
"Sir Leofric said that I already have a way to control my ability, even if I'm not an expert yet," Primrose said calmly. "I still need more time to practice, but … I know I'll be fine."
Leofric even told her that she could use her ability whenever she felt a strong emotion in her heart, and since Primrose was naturally dramatic, nurturing strong emotions wasn't exactly a difficult thing for her.
