Chapter 434 - The Sweet Turns Sour

They didn't say anything when Talia came back to their table with the cakes and pastries. She also poured warm tea into their cups. "My La—Your Majesty, this jasmine tea is very fresh. I picked it just yesterday. If you drink it while it's warm, it should help calm your mind."

[I was only gone for less than fifteen minutes, and they already look tense,] Talia thought nervously. [Are they fighting? Oh no… if the Beast King snaps, he might tear down my bakery!]

Primrose wasn't in the mood to overthink Talia's thoughts. The only thing she cared about right now was finding a way to make her husband feel at ease again.

"Thank you, Miss Talia." Primrose gave her a gentle smile before adding, "I'll call you again if I need anything."

It was a polite way of telling Talia to give them some privacy, and thankfully, she understood the hint immediately.
