Chapter 442 - A Daughter’s Tears

"I'm sorry." Primrose threw herself into her father's arms. She held her breath, eyes wide open, and clutched Lazarus's shirt as tightly as she could. "I'm sorry, Father."

She wasn't just apologizing for this lifetime, but also to the father from her previous life. He must have suffered terribly back then because he had lost both his wife and daughter.

And even though it wasn't his fault, Primrose was certain he must have blamed himself deeply.

"I'm really sorry for making you sad," Primrose murmured. "I promise I won't talk like that again, so please don't be angry or sad."

When Lazarus saw his daughter suddenly looking like a pitiful kitten, he took a deep breath. Just like that, all the anger and disappointment in his heart faded away.

[Damn it! I can never stay mad at my daughter for long!] Lazarus thought. [She definitely has some kind of magic that can charm me!]
