Even though he said it was for himself, Primrose knew he really just wanted to get her away from Garrick, so she wouldn't have to keep hearing the filth inside his head.
"Alright," Primrose sighed. "Let's get some fresh air."
"Your Majesty, where are you going?!" Garrick shouted when he saw them leaving the dungeon. "Your Majesty, why won't you release me?! Listen to me, you'll regret this! The King of Nerathis will come looking for me!"
Primrose shrugged as she walked toward the door. "He won't. Don't worry, we'll make sure you're back on the streets before anyone even notices you are gone."
"What?!" Garrick yelled. "That doesn't make sense! People will know I'm missing! They'll kno—"
Primrose could no longer hear him once Edmund closed the dungeon door. Thankfully, her father had built it to be completely soundproof.
