Primrose couldn't clearly remember what had really happened to her. The last thing she recalled was Nina accidentally—though clearly on purpose—knocking the old music box to the floor until it shattered.
Right after that, a sharp pain stabbed through her chest, and her nose suddenly began to bleed. She also remembered Solene telling Callen to call the doctors. But before they could reach her room, Primrose had already lost consciousness.
Somewhere between sleep and darkness—she didn't know whether it was a dream or just her imagination—she saw someone gently handing her the music box. Everything was blurry, so hazy that she couldn't even see his face. But the music box… that, she could see clearly.
In her dream, the music box wasn't old and worn anymore. It looked brand new, still beautiful, with pink and white paint shining softly on its surface.
"You said you always have nightmares," he suddenly said.
