It has been 3 days since the trailer launch of "Your Name". The internet has been abuzz with Doraemon fans being excited about the movie, the theatres are fully booked for the first week, and the tickets for the second week have yet to be put up for sale. So there have been plenty of people complaining about these issues on the Doraemon forum.
A total of 700 million tickets were sold for the first week, consisting of 100 million tickets per day. It could have sold a lot more, but FAMD cheaped out, as they wanted to test the waters first, so they only assigned a total of 1000 theatres, each capable of housing 100,000 people at a time.
If this trend continued, FAMD will definitely need to increase the number of theatres to meet the demands.

For the past three days, Arwin had been on a break; he did nothing but laze around in his room at FAMD.
In the last few months, he had been juggling between working on "Your Name" and "Interstellar". After months of tiresome work on Interstellar, Arwin finally managed to complete the visual set of Interstellar.
So now, after some rest, he was back in his usual place.
Right now, he was just checking if everything was done perfectly or not. Since he was checking the visuals he made, the scenery of the studio kept changing minute after minute, from the devastated Earth filled with sandstorms and devoid of greenery to scenes of the universe.
Then finally, the main player of this movie, the black hole. Arwin checked everything for any miscalculation or any visual imparity; he did not want even a single margin of error.
The technology here was still baffling to Arwin; the black hole in front of him appeared as if he was directly in front of the real thing. There was no way to tell that Arwin was in a confined space; this studio works in ways that Arwin couldn't imagine.
Still, Arwin was thankful for this technology because it made everything millions of times easier. Here in this studio, there was no need for any camera; every single moment from every single angle was being recorded, so actors only needed to act once, and Arwin could later edit it from whichever angle he desired; there was no need to record a single scene from multiple angles.
Another thing that Arwin loved in this studio was the hard light technology. As the name implied, it was similar to a hologram, but it was physical, not just visual. This technology allowed Arwin to make real props for the movie that they could interact with, like Cooper's truck back on Earth. Arwin created it in a way that it could be driven for real.
He made it drivable because he wanted to give a more realistic feel to the movie, "definitely" not because he missed driving and wanted to experience it again.
Anyway, back to Arwin. After checking every single background and props like the spaceship and other useful things, Arwin was finally satisfied.
"Finally, everything is perfect. What do you think, Leah?"
"Yes, Arwin, it's time to start the filming of Interstellar."
"Hmm… any news from the cast?"
"They have arrived at FAMD; they will be here soon."
"That's good to hear."
"By the way, Leah, be sure to send some bonus to both Diana and Eden; they have worked really hard for the past three months."
"Will do, Arwin."
As Arwin and Leah continued talking, the doors of the studio opened, and Ceylne came in with the others in the cast following right behind her.
Arwin watched the cast enter one by one; he took in the appearance of everyone. They looked very similar to the original cast except for some minor differences.
The cast looked around the studio with curious glances.
Soon, all of them reached where Arwin was.
Ceylne in the front spoke up.
"I have brought the cast for your movie, Mr. West."
Almost everyone that was selected was present, but first, the man selected to play the role of the main character, Joseph Cooper, came forward.
"Hi, I'm Grant Maddox. It's a pleasure to meet you."
The man who looks eerily similar to Matthew McConaughey, the original character, introduced himself to Arwin with a handshake.
Then the woman who was basically the copy of Anne Hathaway introduced herself as Lena Carroaway. This woman was already famous in the industry, so it was surprising for Arwin that she agreed to work with him.
Similarly, one by one, every person of the cast introduced themselves to Arwin. Arwin also familiarized himself with all these people, since they will be working together for the next few months.
After the introductions, Arwin gave each of them the script for the movie and told them to use the education pod to memorize everything in it. He gave them two days of rest, after which the shooting of the movie will start.
After they confirmed that they got the script, all of them went to their assigned lodgings, leaving Arwin alone in his studio to continue working.

"Hey, Lena, our director looks so young, right?"
The actress playing the role of adult Murph asked this question to the actress that looked like Anne Hathaway.
"Yeah, he does look young, but, Sophie, have you not seen his previous work?" Lena asked a question back to Sophie Delacourt.
"No, I haven't. Is it good?"
"Good? My god, it's fantastic. You need to watch it; I fell in love with that show."
"It's that good? Well, since you are praising it so much, I feel like I need to watch it."
"Yeah, it's called Doraemon; it has a movie and a series. I suggest you watch the movie first, then the series."
"For sure."
"What are you guys talking about?"
Hearing the girls talking to each other attracted the interest of the rest of the cast, so one of them decided to ask what they were talking about.
"Oh, Lena here was telling me about our director's previous work. She was telling me that I definitely need to watch it."
"Really, then share it with us as well, since we need to work with this director; it will be nice to know what his style is like."
"Yes, that's right."
All of them chimed in, interested to see the level of their director.
"Oh, I know, it's Doraemon!" The actress that's going to play the role of young Murph chimed in.
"Yup, she's right," Lena confirmed as well.
"Oh, I watched it as well; it's so good."
Andre Hale, the actor for Romilly's role, also gave his approval for the director's work.
"Also, another one of the director's movies is releasing next week," it was Lena who spoke up.
"Yeah, I wanted to watch it, but the tickets sold so fast, I couldn't even buy them," Andre said, looking a little down.
"The trailer for that movie looked so awesome; my mom tried to buy them for me as well, but even we failed," Addie Wren, the young Murph's actress, was the one who spoke this time.
This conversation took the interest of the rest of the cast, who have yet to watch any of Arwin's work.
"Well, now that we will be working on this movie, it will be even harder to take time off."
These words further saddened the young addie.
Seeing that the mood was turning a little somber, Lena spoke up, "Well, why don't we all ask the director to show us the movie when we meet him after two days?"
Addie's eyes started glowing, looking towards Lena, "Why didn't I think of that? You are a genius."
Hearing the excitement in the young girl's voice made everyone chuckle.
"Well, then it's decided; first, everyone who hasn't watched the Doraemon series will watch it in the next two days, and then we will ask the director to show us the new movie as well," Grant Maddox was the one who spoke up this time.
Everyone agreed to this idea.
The mood became lively once again.
Soon, everyone reached their homes, and almost all of them started to watch Doraemon as a way to familiarize themselves with their director's previous work.
After a few hours of watching the movie and the series, it was safe to say that they were not disappointed; in fact, they were more than excited to work with the director.
A/N: Sorry guys for not uploading for the past few days. Somebody at my work had to take some days off, so I had to fill in, but hopefully the updates will be regular from now on. Also the shooting of interstellar is about to begin.
Anyways enjoy. ✌️
