Three days later.
"Are you sure it's okay to bring Dandelion so openly?" Evelynn asked in a subdued voice as they stepped out of the car.
Matthew gave her a confident smile as he offered his hand to help her out of the car. "It will be okay," he reassured. "Remember, as of today you're a beast tamer. And of course, a beast tamer wouldn't go anywhere without their tamed beast. I've already talked to the host, so they know that Dandelion will come together with us."
Feeling reassured by Matthew's words, Evelynn straightened her dress as she looked towards the entrance of the banquet hall.
It had been two days since Matthew first brought up the banquet, encouraging her to join him.
After a full day of much needed rest from the tower, he had visited her in her new apartment with the invitation.
"It's a banquet for awakened tower climbers, awakened craftsmen and potential sponsors to network and make connections," he had introduced when he first brought it up.
