She was powerful, the most powerful opponent he had ever faced before, and she wasn't even trying to kill him.
He used everything in his arsenal, but they were rendered useless against her. Using magic against her was like giving a fish more water to swim in. And he didn't even try to use holy power, as that power belonged to her.
So, he had to use his fists, not that it was a problem.
The problem was that Luminera actually knew how to fight.
Zion, at this point, was a master martial artist. He knew the ins and outs of combat and could even overwhelm experienced fighters.
He lunged forward with a right hook, but that was blocked, and Luminera countered with a palm strike. Although he felt pain, he grabbed her arm and went in for a left hook.
