3rd POV
Inside a building are several dozen people, all seated in front of a stage, on top of said stage is a desk with a dark skinned man nervously fidgeting with some papers, on his side is instead a comfy armchair. This was the studio of a very well-known talk show, with the host of said show being this universe's version of Steve Harvey.
Across the globe, several people were waiting with trepidation, less than 24 hours before the revelation of Leshy's true identity had happened, in less than a few hours, everyone already knew his name, his age, his previous status as a missing person, and in the following hours a new notice arrived, he would be talking at a talk show.
The currently most spoken man across all of Earth would be speaking and answering questions to just one singular man. Not the citizens, not the police, not the government, but the host of a talk show.
You can guess what the reaction of the masses was; most TV stations asked how he had scored such an interview, to which he responded that he had been contacted by Adrian, not the other way around.
The mutants sat in front of a TV to watch the show. The Fantastic Four, accompanied by She-Hulk and Peter, were watching too. The Avengers were in the Avengers Tower to watch it as well, and even Shield had several agents watching the show to try to understand what Adrian's true intentions were.
Steve got signed that he was about to go live, so he pushed the notes he had made inside a pocket, took a big breath and then smiled at the camera.
" Good night, ladies and gentlemen, I can guess you all have heard why this special episode of the show is happening, he has been on everyone's mouth in the last 24 hours, and with the sudden reveal in the middle of Times Square, we are all happy to welcome the Saviour of the Masses, the hero's of the weak, the hero previously known as Leshy, Adrian Rivierra."
Silence followed his statement. 5 seconds passed before space distorted, and someone walked through a portal, wearing normal clothing he could have passed as a normal civilian, if it hadn't been for his entrance, how his eyes were constantly changing colour, his blue hair, and the way he produced an aura around him that made everyone feel complete.
" Sorry, I had to stop a 16-year-old from being raped by an older schoolmate."
.
.
.
' Walking with a portal was the right decision, it's a better way to show off.'
" Is she ok?" That was the first question that came out of Steve's mouth.
I had chosen him for a reason after all, though not on Pete's level, he had one of the purest souls I had seen, so I was sure he wouldn't use this interview to insult Mutants or show me in a bad light.
" She is fine and currently being treated. I had already healed her body, but she needs a therapist, some I am currently not one, but I am studying to become one." I lied, my therapist skill is already maxed, but showing an aspiration for growth makes people more connected.
" That is a good aspiration, I find it regrettable how many people do not talk about how a physical injury is just as serious as a mental trauma, but sit, we have a lot to talk about."
" I am sure we do," I said while sitting on the comfortable chair with a smile. I could feel some of the girls' hearts among the live crowd beating faster at the sight of my smile.
" Well then, Adrian, can I call you Adrian?" To which I simply nodded.
" We have a lot of questions, but I think the first one we all want to hear is... why?"
"Why did I do all of this, or why did I reveal myself?"
" Both, revealing the identity of a hero is always frowned upon because of the possible dangers to the hero's life."
" Well, I guess I should start from the beginning, as some of you might have heard from the video posted of my reveal, I am an orphan from birth, both my parents dying in a car accident and I only saved myself because my mother used her body to protect me, I was raised in a orphanage where I met my mother's figure, who also died during the New York's attack, I remained under ground for the following days, starving on both food and water, when I was found I was taken care off in a hospital until I was back at full shape, physically at least, mentally I wasn't doing so good, pushing me to the point of even trying to kill myself, until I was 18 I moved from foster home to foster home untill I was given a house for myself."
"... That... is a lot to unpuck, Adrian. I am sorry you had to suffer all of this; no one should have lived even one of the accidents that filled your life."
" It's not your fault, I was just unlucky, a lot of times, and about why I showed myself to the world, it was to make everyone know that there is nothing to fear, and that I want that everyon's know that my actions are my own, and not anyone's else."
" That is a good reason, Adrian, having the courage to show the world who you truly are is quite a courageous step."
" I didn't do it for the world, I did it for those who are not seen by it."
" Are you talking about the mutant? Can I say mutants?"
" You can, the derogatory term for mutants is mutie, by the mutant community it is frowned upon, I wouldn't say as much as the N-word, but it gets close when people say it is used to refer to a child who is unaware of how to even use his powers."
" I wasn't aware of that. I had heard it being used before, but I didn't know it was considered an insult."
" Of course you wouldn't, Steve, I can easily say that maybe in your whole life you have met one or two mutants, there aren't as many as the journalist likes to say, and the few of us that have as much power as they say we do can be counted on my hands, we are a community that likes to remain by ourself because of how we are treated, and unless a kid discover some type of dangerous powers we are always able to safely make sure the kid is being treated right, and if he isn't we bring him with us to teach him how to use his powers."
" Weak powers?"
" Steve, are you aware of how we describe mutant powers?"
" No, they are categorised?"
" Of course they are, considering how most mutants have detrimental mutations, it is obligatory."
" Detrimental? Aren't all mutants' powers useful?"
"Unfortunately, at the bottom category are the Epsilon Level mutants, whose mutations only bring downsides, making them sometimes even weaker than a normal human. An example is a mutant I know whose mutation is to have a bird's physiology with only the downsides, no flight, only weak bones, very easy to get ill, having to eat with a beak, and things I am not sure I can say on TV, or a girl who just has photobia, nothing else, that's her mutation."
Several people laughed at the statement.
" I didn't know that."
" Of course you didn't, talking about a weak mutant dose doesn't get as much attention as talking about the strongest ones after all."
He simply nodded, aware of how journalism worked.
" Then there is Gamma Level, whose power usually comes with a downside, most times being total change in the physical structure, though there are advantages, they are blocked away from living a normal life, their power is usually barely enough to even cause damage on a small scale, like destroying a wall at best."
" Then there are the Beta Level mutants, whose powers are finally starting to become usefull but have restrction or drawbacks on them that make them unable to use them freely, to compare an hero to a beta level mutant I would use Captain Ameria, he can easly destroy a building but that's it."
" There is the Alpha level, the elite of the ones I had said for now."
" Are you among them?"
" No, I am above them as an Omega Level, but let's not skip levels; their powers show no drawbacks, and if any physical changes happen, it is only as an advantage and not a drawback, the strongest among them can cause damage to cities."
" Cities?"
" Steve, before I continue, I want you to understand how many mutants there are compared to humans. If people on Earth are 8 billion, then 0.01 of them are mutants, of which 90% are Epsilon Level, 5% are Beta Level, and most of the remaining ones are Alpha Level, most being barely able to reach it, then the few remaining ones are Omega level only few of them being able to use their power well enough to fit in this category the other only having the potential of an omega level mutant."
" Those are eye-opening numbers. If most mutants are that weak, then are they so feared?"
" We will get on that later, for now, let me talk about Omega mutants, and why they are considered to be on a planetary level."
" Planetary?"

Thanks for the support from everyone. The list is getting quite long, so sorry if I can't keep up with it.
