Chapter 90 - Chapter 89

I had become a beacon of life and longevity; whoever came even near the globe I had created by using nature and blood mana had their body invigorated and their lifespan extended, all the plants inside of said globe where constantly growing and giving out crops to help out the people here, the few pets who were about to die due to lack of food now were back to prime and playing with the kids to distract them from the outside.

And for those outside the globe? Using my nature and blood mana, I had created a fake "life" attribute, not as powerful as the original but close enough that the beings made from death mana would all crumble to dust if trying to pass through it. The smarter ones stayed away, so not a lot of them, those that say humans and wanted to eat came close enough for the globe to burn their bodies and give XP, since most of them were weak. I only gained 1 XP and 10 dollars each kill.

The more mana I used, the more I had to stay in meditation, making One with Maba (Meditation) reach level 75. In this moment, every MP counts, so knowing I can last a bit longer when using bigger spells helps a lot.

While making sure the globe remained up, I also tried out using Earth mana, gaining new spells in doing so. The first one, I simply created walls all around the city, much harder than the ones they already had and made so they could repair themself by using the mana in the ground.

Another one was made by creating a hole under one of the zombies and crushing him by closing said hole.

The one I like the most, though, had to be the one I created by making the ground rise and close like a book, crushing dozens of zombies, and then return to normal. The scene looked like it had come out of one of those B-rated zombie movies, but it was cool.

New Spell: Rock Wall, Crushing Tomb, Crushing Walls

Seeing the result made me smile, but what made me return to serious mode was the arrival of an aura I quite easily recognised.

" I can guess you have met the Ancient One of your universe." Strange told me after he appeared from a portal and floated beside me, his eyes empty as he stared down towards the smiling and laughing city.

" He helped me understand what I could do."

" And he never taught you about the importance of set points in timelines?"

" He didn't, but I have read what they mean, and what trying to change one can cause."

" Yet, you are still doing this."

" I am."

" You are playing with something far above you, are even aware of who is watching you."

I didn't answer, and instead looked in a specific direction, the mana that composed the universe aiding in seeing a silhouette in the air, a bald man with a big head and wearing a robe. The mana quickly disappeared, seemingly distressed.

" He won't do anything for now."

" For now, that's what worries me, I was like you once, thinking I could do things, but then I saw it, what could happen if I did something."

" I am not you, and let me tell you, I am disappointed in you. You are a doctor, the sorcerer supreme of this universe, someone able to see the future, and yet you couldn't find a cure? Or would it be more appropriate to say you didn't want to find one?"

" You don't know what will happen."

" I don't, and I don't care. I can feel the life in this universe slowly dying because of something someone didn't want to prevent. I can feel the energy that allows magic to exist dying because you were too scared to act. The heartbeats of millions of people stopping, the laughs of the children gone with the wind, the life that once filled every single thing replaced with a corruption that makes me sick to the core."

A darker type of mana surrounded my body, emanating pulses of threatening energy. Strange felt it due to how close he was; none of the ones below did, and the one to which it was directed felt like something was crawling on his skin, someone supposedly weaker than he was was making him tremble.

The pulses stopped, and Strange could go back to breathing normally; even being near such oppressive mana had made his heart stop.

" I have had enough of people with the bigger guns ruling everything."

A flash of light went through the previously emotionless eyes of Strange, but he said nothing, and just he appeared from a portal, he disappeared in one.

I am aware of what is watching me, of the sickness behind such a being. In his attempt at containing the illness, he had doomed two universes to a cycle of sickness and death. The lives of the few for the lives of many is a mentality that only existed in the ones who were weak and unable to change things.

I will prove it, I will show him and whoever is watching that a solution always exists, and that what they had done was simply a way to wash their hands of all the work.

" Continue to watch me, you will see how someone with powers should actually be using them."

Another stronger wave of mana came out of my body, but unlike the one from before, this one created an even bigger globe, and healed even faster the ones inside.

" I won't let you create a new cycle."

Thanks for the support from everyone. The list is getting quite long, so sorry if I can't keep up with it.

AN: Nothing to say here, the universeity tired me a lot.
