Chapter 35 - We All Belong to Young Master Huang

"That's right! Young Master Huang is here! Kid, your death day has come!"

"How dare you lay a hand on us? You must have a death wish!"

The ones who had been keeping their heads low finally lifted them the moment White Hair spoke. Their eyes turned toward the familiar figure standing at the door.

Just like White Hair, they were all lackeys under Huang Yu's command.

They had been arrested together yesterday.

Now, seeing their own Young Master appear, excitement instantly surged through them.

They jumped to their feet, completely ignoring their bruised and swollen faces, and began hurling curses at the thin figure sitting on the bunk bed.

"W–What? That's Young Master Huang?"

"You mean one of the Four Young Masters of Tianhai? The Huang Family's Young Master Huang?"

The gangsters who had been kneeling on the ground, thinking they were doomed, looked up in shock at the mention of that name.

The Huang Family's status in Tianhai City was beyond question.

As people often said — anything the Huang Family desired in Tianhai, they would inevitably obtain.

"Of course! That's the head of the Four Young Masters of Tianhai — Huang Yu, Young Master Huang himself!"

Seeing the row of people kneeling on the floor, White Hair and the others grinned proudly, not bothering to hide their smugness.

"Young Master Huang, from now on, I'm yours! Just say the word — even if it means walking through fire or climbing mountains of blades, I'll follow you without hesitation!"

"That's right!"

"From now on, you're the boss of Detention Room No. 3!"

Except for a couple of guys too traumatized to move, the rest stood up one after another, taking the chance to pledge their loyalty.

While professing their devotion, they glared viciously at the thin man on the bunk bed.

"Nie Xiao, you son of a bitch! Get over here and kneel before Young Master Huang!"

With so many people standing by his side, White Hair grew even more arrogant.

Such was the charm of Young Master Huang — with just one word, everyone would take his side.

"We all belong to Young Master Huang! You dared slap him — now get on your knees!"

"Or we'll break your damn legs!"

"Yeah! Get down here and show respect!"

"Who the hell do you think you are? You dare lie there when Young Master Huang is standing?"

"Ever heard of the Four Young Masters of Tianhai?"

As White Hair kept taunting, the rest began shouting as well.

Yet not one of them dared to actually step forward. Instead, they all hid behind White Hair and the few braver lackeys.

Damn it, when did I ever say a word? Why the hell are you all crowding behind me?!

Watching the chaos unfold, Huang Yu nearly spat blood in frustration.

Still, he couldn't entirely blame them.

After all, reputation carried weight.

Though his former self was just a bootlicker, the Huang Family's power in Tianhai allowed Huang Yu to walk sideways through the city — untouchable.

Almost no one dared provoke him.

Especially in the past three years, any man who got close to Liu Ruyan — regardless of status — would end up getting thoroughly beaten once Huang Yu found out.

Many had even been crippled under his orders by White Hair and his crew before being driven out of Tianhai City.

Over time, rumors exaggerated things to the point where every thug and lowlife in Tianhai believed the Huang Family was untouchable — practically divine beings.

Even murder, they said, was nothing more than slaughtering a chicken — the law couldn't touch them.

But in truth, although Huang Yu was indeed arrogant and extravagant, his misdeeds stopped at wasting money and beating people up.

The reason he got away with it was simply that someone always cleaned up his mess afterward.

Otherwise, given his grandfather's temper, the old man would've "cleaned house" long before the police could.

Looking at the mob gathered around him, Huang Yu felt utterly speechless.

White Hair and the others might be his underlings, sure…

But since when did he have a bunch of filthy, tattoo-covered degenerates like these under him?

They stank of sweat, looked like bums, covered in dragons and tigers inked across their backs — classic street thugs who bullied the weak and collected protection money.

Huang Yu prided himself on having high standards for subordinates. He came from a military and political family, after all — not from the Left Family's gang of half-whitewashed criminals.

Back then, his men — White Hair included — all had decent appearances, height, and builds.

Most were graduates of martial arts or security schools, with clean backgrounds.

They dressed sharply, spoke smoothly, and projected an air of authority wherever they went.

But these guys?

Half of them had fake, fading tattoos — one even had a dragon sticker peeling off his shoulder!

Another had a sloppy Guan Gong on his back!

And their teeth — black and yellow, reeking so badly Huang Yu thought he might faint.

God damn it…

If he were Nie Xiao right now, he'd beat this bunch of idiots up too!

"The Four Young Masters of Tianhai?"

At that moment, Nie Xiao slowly opened his eyes from the bunk bed.

He twisted his neck twice with a crack and turned his head toward Huang Yu with a faint, mocking smile.

"So you're Huang Yu — leader of the Four Great Scoundrels of Tianhai?"

"If that's the case, then that bastard Lin Cong must be one of your buddies, huh?"

Lin Cong?

Huang Yu frowned, puzzled by the name.

Could it be that you came back early because of that moron from the Lin Family — the one who can only think with his lower half? Did he mess with your sister or something?

The Lin Family might not be among Tianhai's Four Great Clans, but they were still powerful — stronger even than most first-rate families, ranking among the city's Eight Super-Elite Families.

As a direct descendant, Lin Cong acted arrogantly and loved staying in the spotlight.

To raise his own profile, he constantly associated himself with female celebrities and leeching off Han Kun's fame.

The true Four Great Families of Tianhai, including Huang Yu's, generally ignored him — but to outsiders, he already seemed incredible.

Thus, people began lumping Lin Cong together with Huang Yu, Han Kun, and Zuo Yi, calling them the "Four Young Masters of Tianhai."

More accurately, though, most just called them the "Four Great Scoundrels."

They were one step away from being publicly labeled the "Four Plagues of Tianhai."

And Huang Yu… was ranked the number one scoundrel of them all.

Seeing the cold gleam in Nie Xiao's eyes, Huang Yu instantly figured it out.

Damn it!

That bastard Lin Cong is really going to get me killed this time!

Whether he touched that guy's sister or not, I'm screwed just by association!

Still, Huang Yu wasn't panicking.

"System, what's the difference between my combat power and Nie Xiao's?" he asked quietly in his mind.

It was a newly unlocked system feature — the ability to scan the combat strength of nearby individuals.

He'd barely used it so far.

"Host, your current combat power is 8,500."

"As for Nie Xiao's combat power…"
