~MIA'S POV ~
I felt disgusted by my brother's attitude. Yesterday dad invited me for a conversation, and it ended up on a heated argument. I hope he's not going to be the next King, then were dead. He's an asshole and a dick headed son of a bitch. I sat on my bed fiddling with my phone.
"I hate you Jonen"I whispered to myself. I called Anna to come over, "OK,be right there. "She replied and cut the call. Ever since I was a child ,I possessed the most dangerous powers in the world. A secret dad and I kept from the world, I was a dark. in one of the most dangerous species of vampires in the world.
-START OF FLASHBACK-
At the age of 7 I noticed was different from other children. Everything I touched perished,children began to fear me. Despite my dark abilities, my friend Anna never left me. She made me feel like I had another chance to live a normal life.
Dad even banned children from coming to the palace,Anna was allowed to come, since she was the daughter of my father's beta, Tristan. "Mia, if you learn how to control your powers, you'll be a great person in future. "He once told me. He's the only one who made me feel like a daughter. Till now.

I heard someone clear his throat, I turned to see a dark silhouette if a woman. I almost forgot about Anna. "Looks like someone is in ..deep thoughts, I have been standing here for five minutes and you didn't even sense my presence. " I smirked ,and gestured for her to sit. "Hey what did you bring?"I questioned impatiently,typing on my phone at the edge of my bed. "So rare of you, anyway I brought some blood" she noticed my sudden change of expression.
"Don't worry it's fresh, just like how you want it. One more thing would like if I have a sleepover here "I raised my head and said " yes ,you can. I even need someone to talk to. It's 8pm so let get out for some fresh air. We'll be back before 9:30 pm ." She agreed, sipping her blood in a wine glass. "Pass me a cup, girl "I commanded, "hey kiddo, I'm not your maid. And you should respect me I'm 1 year older than you. "She whined giving me the goblet.
I drank it in two seconds. "Anna let's go ", she followed me. I was praying no one will notice our absence.
~ADRIAN'S POV~
I checked the time it was 8pm "OH shit I'm late "I hurriedly put on my white shirt and black trousers. I hurried down stairs, I got into my black SUV and drove as fast as I could. As soon as I got there, all eyes were on me. I saw my mother's sullen face. Alya appeared beside me,"I hope you enjoy today's event ,darling let's go your mother is waiting for us. "She wrapped her arm around mine. I was looking for a way to get away from this event.
For the past 10years, every time this event is held I don't find my mate."Hi son you came late. I can see you came with your suitable mate." Mom greeted us,Alya couldn't help blushing as mom said those words. I can't wait to get out of here.I think I have a problem with the moon goddess,she punishes me every single day in my life.
I glanced around I could see Roman mingling with the ladies."Mom can you excuse me, I have to talk to Roman about issues concerning the pack "I made my to Roman's seat "Guess this year is another bad luck. I guess you have to agree with your mother,you have to marry Alya, we can't have a pack without a Luna "he suggested. "If I wanted to marry her,I would've marry her eight years ago. I don't want her I just use her to warm my bed. " I replied calmly.
"She can't be my Luna, she's not capable of that position. She has too much pride and ego. " I paused I could sense the movement of vampires in the hall. I also sense one with a cold, dark aura. "Roman I think there vampires here, let's check it out. These creatures are breaking the law of the peace treaty." I called for back up, while Roman led every one to the safe room.
We checked everywhere in the building but couldn't find them. I separated them into 4 parts, some went north and the others went to the other three cardinal directions. I went to the back of the building. I saw foot prints on the ground and decided to follow.
As I came closer, the scent of roses and strawberry brushed against my nose. Wayne, happily shouted the word "MATE!!!" in my head, I finally found my mate. And wait she's a fucking vampire....
