I. Foundational Concepts

The Primal Codex

A metaphysical system that governs growth, survival, and evolution.

The Codex strengthens individuals by:

Rewarding Traits, Fragments, and Soul Arts

Refining survival instincts through repeated confrontation with death

Guiding Awakened individuals toward closing Hollow Fractures

The Codex does not judge morality. It only measures change.

Awakening Condition

Only individuals who challenge a Hollow Fracture before the age of seventeen are eligible to Awaken.

Failure results in death, assimilation, or erasure.

Survival results in Awakening.

II. Hollow Fractures

Hollow Fractures

Spatial and metaphysical ruptures containing remnants of other worlds consumed by the Hollows.

Each fracture is incomplete, unstable, and hostile.

To close a Hollow Fracture, an individual must cause a major change within the fracture through a decisive event, such as:

– Ending a central conflict or cycle sustaining the fracture

– Altering the outcome of a key event that defines the fracture's state

– Eliminating, protecting, or replacing a core entity tied to the fracture

– Triggering a collapse, stabilization, or completion of the fracture's objective

The change must be significant enough that the fracture can no longer continue in its original form.

Good or evil is irrelevant. Change is mandatory.

Hollow Creatures

Entities born from or warped by Hollow Fractures, ranked by threat:

Spawn

Thrall

Wraith

Terror

Destroyer

Forsaken

Corruptor

Abyssal

Ender

Each rank represents a qualitative leap, not just strength.

III. The Awakened

The Awakened

Individuals who successfully close Hollow Fractures and gain the ability to interact with Prana.

IV. Prana System

Prana

The essence of life and soul.

Prana can be acquired through:

Absorbing ambient Prana from the environment

Consuming Soul Cores

Prana governs all supernatural interaction.

Prana Core

An internal core responsible for storing, refining, and circulating Prana.

Damage to the Prana Core results in:

Power instability

Trait collapse

Permanent weakening or death

Prana Conduits

Magical pathways that allow the Awakened to absorb, circulate, and refine Prana.

The absorption speed, Prana quality, and recovery rate depend on the refinement and integrity of these conduits.

V. Progression Stages

The ascent of the Awakened follows irreversible stages:

Nascent

Embodied

Awakened

Ascended

Astral

Supreme

Primordial

Eternal

Each stage alters:

Prana capacity

Interaction with reality

Advancement always carries cost.

VI. Traits and Identity

Traits

Defined characteristics that shape an Awakened's abilities and behavior.

Traits may be:

Innate

Acquired upon Awakening

Granted by the Primal Codex as rewards

Traits evolve or fracture based on use and choice.

Class

A structural categorization that aligns:

Traits

Weapons

Soul Arts

Class ensures all abilities adapt to the Awakened's inherent specializations rather than forcing uniform growth.

VII. Affinities and Expression

Affinities

Elemental forces an Awakened resonates with.

Affinities can be:

Materialized

Assimilated

Resonants

These individuals embody the characteristics of their Affinity.

Example: Water's fluidity influencing movement, thought, or form.

Materializers

Awakened capable of manifesting their Affinity externally and manipulating it directly.

Raw power, higher consumption, higher backlash.

VIII. Soul Path System

Soul Name

A unique designation granted to exceptional individuals who establish a distinct Path.

A Soul Name is not cosmetic. It anchors identity and fate.

Soul Art

A specialized technique unlocked when an Awakened fully understands their Path.

Soul Arts cannot be copied.

They can only be distorted.

IX. Fragments and Relics

Fragments

Relics or partial soul-imprints of Hollow Creatures.

Extremely rare.

Usually acquired through killing high-rank entities.

Fragments may:

Modify existing abilities

Corrupt the bearer

X. Domain Authority

Soul Realm

A Hollow Fracture world claimed by an Awakened after reaching a specific rank.

Within their Domain, the Awakened possesses:

Absolute control

Reality authority
