It didn't fade. It didn't weaken. It simply paused, trapped in place by my will and the space and time laws acting on it.
The air around it shook. The pressure rolling off it was terrifying. Even without touching it, I knew that a single release would be enough to level the entire capital of Vaythos and turn it into dust.
"Revert." I whispered.
The bolt broke apart instantly. Its violent power melted into harmless Essence, drifting like smoke and dissolving into the domain around me.
The ground remained untouched, and the clouds above trembled as if waiting for my next command.
I decided to finish the last pieces of the domain. I rose slowly into the air, letting the Essence storm continue its work as I floated higher.
From above, the tablet behind me looked even larger, its shadow covered almost the entire secluded space. It felt like a monument placed here since the beginning of time.
