Sitting in his assigned room situated at the lowest level of academy Ray stared blankly at his communictor displaying the instructions sleepers were to follow.
Unsure of whether to contact his parents Ray decided to get some food in cafeteria
'Why the hell are they giving me so many glares'
Despite many fellow sleepers gawking at him Ray fill up a little mountain of food on his plate and devoured the meal like a beast afterall he had eaten before going in Nightmare and was locked in that room for God knows how long
'Everything tastes great when you are hungry'
Seeing him sit alone some sleepers had tried to sit with him and eat but were afraid when Ray glared back , god knew what a freak who was brought in handcuffed would do to them so they maintained a distance
After eating to his heart's content Ray saw a message flash up in his communicator, apparently it was his turn to be interviewed.

In one of many numerous rooms situated on countless corridors of academy
a administrative officer sat across Ray and said in a friendly and polite tone
"All of the information needed has been provided by your contractor but as someone worried about a child's well being i must ask do you need psychological counseling "
Hearing this Ray was surprised and amused after realising the influence of the person whom he had befriended , but still one thought remained
'These guys are relentless '
Knowing the reason behind this facade of care and empathy Ray decided to reject counselling even though he needed it.
"No , Thanks for your utmost concern"
Hearing this the administrative officer was surprised because the kid infront of him said the words so kindly but had a look of disdain
' Did I say something to put him off.?'
Leaving the small office Ray made his way to his dorm room on the way he saw many sleepers trying to court each other watching them enjoying together made Ray miss Noor even more.

Back in his room Ray was lying in his bed after having a shower and changing himself into new clothes.
While he was staring at the communicator unsure what to do it started ringing , apparently Ray's parents had called him.
After talking to them and explaining he was very busy and overwhelmed in Academy after having reached here two days ago.
Ray proceeded to answer all their questions as if nothing had happened to him , since while talking to his parents he had unconsciously choosen not to worry his parents by telling him what actually transpired with him in Academy.
After having a good talk with them Ray sat on his bed . A faint smile found it's way on his face because to him atleast his parents seemed fine and that was more than enough.
Soon he called Noor and made her sure that the reason for him not calling wasn't that he had found another girl in academy but because he was busy after talking for a while Ray ended the call saying he felt sleepy.
Sitting alone on cheap yet squishy mattress provided by the Academy Ray decided to figure out the fundamental of his Aspect

No matter how he looked at it only one thought came to mind

This explained all the feats that Ray achieved which he couldn't before.
Looking over to his runes again he read

'Weren't their supposed to be a counter ?.
Maybe it'll stop counting after I reach the thousandth count'

'So my soul core is half awakened so it means I can only access to half the might of a awakened seems quite underwhelming honestly '
Thinking over and over again Ray concluded it would have to be more than that after all it was a supreme aspect.
'Before I figure out it's secret atleast I should master the basics.'
Closing his eyes Ray sat upright on his bed with crossed legs
'How did I do it again.?'
Ray focused at his glabella to imagine a ball of light .
'Was it like this..?'
Not finding anything new he let go of focus and introspected his own being his own body and soul.
While introspecting he felt a warm fuzzy feeling near his heart that he never had before
' It must be my soul core '
For a while Ray tried to take out the soul essence but it felt something was blocking it so he tried something else.
Imagining a sphere of light again at his glabella Ray made it move through his body just like he used to do it when he was younger
Without thinking anything so that his concentration wouldn't be hindered Ray tried to move the sphere towards his heart.
At first the movement of sphere of light was going smoothly but as it neared the periphery of soul core Ray couldn't imagine the sphere of light crossing it.
Being stuck at such a crucial step would have made anyone have a fleeting thought of disappointment thus breaking their concentration, but this was not the case with Ray such was his concentration.
Slowly but surely Ray was visualizing the sphere of light crossing the dark periphery of his soul core and reaching inside to come out from the other side of soul core with soul essence following closely behind it.
The sphere of light started its journey across Ray's body,the soul essence flowed in Ray's body like a River flowing in its dried river bed after a long time. Following the light sphere soul essence lit up every corner of Ray's being making him more stronger, faster and durable for the dangers yet to come.
After circulating the soul essence throughout his whole body and making sure it circulated without him actively guiding it Ray opened his eyes.
A curious look crept up his contrasting eyes
'Should I use that ability on myself'
Ray looked at his hands ' nothings there'
This time Ray tried to infuse a bit of essence in his eyes.
'It worked'
Ray could see soul essence runing through his hand like a river albeit a small river getting smaller as more and more tributaries opened up along the way.
'This is incredible'
Ray had instinctively thought these eyes were a gift from the devil lady after all The Spell said it.
'What did spell call her? Great existence right'
Coming to a sudden realisation Ray's eyes widened
'Was she a great devil before being sealed, No way I survived something like that'
His heartbeat had fastened a little
'Let's do this , to relax I will visit my soul sea it's supposed to pretty I hope it'll help'
After giving a mental command to enter soul sea a message appeared infront of Ray
