Ji said, looking terrified
Jae, who was trembling from the shock of seeing his friend, becoming a monster, suddenly stopped shaking and started to look at the monster, focusing.
'There must be a way, my Dad once told me that as long as I'm confident, I can do anything!'
'Think, how can I solve this situation, there shouldn't be any shelter yet so the safest place should be inside the house for now, and more importantly, Mom and Dad are still inside, I need to go to them.'
'Ah! That's right! If I do that, we might be able to go inside the house!'
Jae, engrossed in his thoughts, finally looked at Ji with his blue eyes glowing and smirking.
"W-what?...."
Ji anxiously asked, still terrified.
Jae pats Ji on the head to calm her down,
"Sis, don't be scared, I have a plan, go inside the house while I distract the monster, I'll follow you after I lost that thing."
Jae said while faintly smiling,
"No! That's too dangerous, we don't even know what that monster is!"
Ji said looking agitated,
"I have a plan so just trust me sis, you know how tough your big bro is, plus if we don't do this now, we'll still end up dead from the other monsters in this area."
Jae said, looking confident,
"Bu-"
Ji was interrupted before she could finish her words,
"No buts!"
Jae said.
"On the count of 3 i will run over there to get the monster away from our house",
Jae pointed at the direction on the left,
"Once he's far from our house, run fast and go inside."
"1.."
"2.."
"3!"
"Monsterrrr!!! Comee!! get!! meeee!!!!!"
Jae ran to the left side with all his might while shouting to get the monster's attention.
"Shriekk!!"
The monster chased him just as he wanted, but, the monster....
'Is incredibly fast! Damn it!!'
Jae was flabbergasted, as he didn't expect the monster to be that fast, if he were to explain how fast it is, he would say if a cheetah and this hell of a monster were to compete on a race, the monster would win with a gap of 10 seconds.
and just like that, the monster kicked him, piercing its lance feet to Jae's stomach and, like a toy, the monster just tossed him to the side causing him to vomit blood.
Jae is having a difficulty in breathing due to the big hole at his stomach, every single movement he makes even the slightest bit of it, causes him to bleed more and make things more painful.
'No.. I-I c-can't die yet... my sister.. Jijin... is... still.. outside....'
Jae said while looking to a blurry figure that seems to be his sister, his sister seems to be saying something but he can't hear anything anymore, therefore, just smiling.
'Don't.... worry... I will... save you... Jijin.. Your big bro.... is tough after all..'
Jae unable to speak, is now only able to think, but even thinking seems harder to him, the fact that he's still concious is already a miracle, considering the amount of blood he loss, he's only still concious due to will power alone.
Jae saw another blurry figure in his front, slowly walking to him as it makes holes on the ground.
"Ah.. Its the... monster....if you... hurt Jijin...I will..."
Jae's once confident blue eyes started to fade and became empty.
Jae is now dead.
The monster, about to hold Jae, was hit by a rock on the head.
"Don't come closer to my brother, you monsterrr!!!"
Ji said with a mixture of fury, sorrow, hate, and fright.
"Shriekkkkk!!!"
The monster furiously charged at Ji, when suddenly, it went flying,
and an azure monster with red fingers and toes, black arms and legs with a head that looks like an ant,
black tails that looks like a lion's tail, its shiny azure body that looks like an armor, its eyes that looks like its made of diamond,
the hand and feet of a human but with spikes, its black majestic wings, its horn on the left side of its head,
and its scales on its armor that looks like something you would see on a dragon, suddenly appeared.
The lance-feet monster with black blood spilling from its shark like mouth due to the impact, got up from the crushed wall,
it dashed, closing the gap between it and the azure monster immediately, aiming its feet to the azure monster's stomach.
Though fast, the azure monster was still able to dodge it and sliced the metal feet of the lance-feet monster using his spiky hands.
"Krieekkkk!"
The lance-feet monster, agonizing in pain and then it dashed again, though it only have one feet left, its still pretty fast, closing the gap between him and the azure monster, going for another kick.
The azure monster, unlike the lance-feet monster, seems to have intelligence, as it would not move from its place, but wait for the lance-feet monster to attack it first then it would counter attack.
It sliced off the lance-feet monster's metal feet once again.
The lance-feet, no, the non-feet monster, with only its arms left, uses it to stand, terrified from an overwhelming foe, it tried to escaped, but suddenly, its arms were also sliced off,
"Krieekkkkk!!"
The only-torso monster, shouting, angry and terrified from the predator in front of it.
The azure monster, stepped on the only-torso monster's head, and crushed it.
It was killed, the only-torso monster didn't even stand a chance.
The azure monster, faced the direction of its next target, and that target is Ji.
Ji lost her power to stand, she was trembling, so much that she can't move, as the monster thats slowly walking to her is something that easily killed the monster who killed her brother.
"N-no... Please.. I dont want to die!"
All Ji can do is beg for her life, but the azure monster didn't care and kept walking, until its in front of Ji.
As the azure monster was about to slice Ji to bits, it stopped, and a sudden crack appeared all over its body. That crack became bigger and bigger till it shattered, and a human appeared from inside of the azure monster.
"Big bro?..?"
Ji asked with a hint of surprise and worriness on her face.
