Chapter 242 - Chapter 242

Akio led a grand procession of high-ranking women toward the Tenryou Commission's training grounds.

By the time they arrived, the guards stationed outside nearly fainted from shock.

"Greetings to the Great Sovereign! To the Three Shoguns! To the Kanjou Commissioner! To the Tenryou Commissioner—!"

The poor guard nearly lost his voice listing all the titles. What kind of day is this? A Tenshukaku team-building event? The Great Sovereign and the Shogun were both here for an inspection?

Akio nodded and strode inside with the women in tow.

"All personnel—halt your training! Form ranks and step back behind the Great Sovereign!" Kujou Sara barked.

The soldiers in the training grounds instantly snapped to attention, marching in perfect unison behind Akio.

He was impressed. Kujou Sara truly was the strictest of generals—her soldiers were impeccably trained.

"You two—set up archery targets at the 200-meter mark." Akio ordered a pair of warriors.

"At once, Lord" The men scrambled to place several straw dummies at the specified distance.

"This is an Anemo assault rifle, designed for mid-range combat," Akio explained. "Of course, the elemental type can be adjusted—we can modify the bullet properties when producing the magazines."

With that, he fired a burst of Anemo bullets. The projectiles tore through the air faster than sound itself, blasting clean through the straw dummies.

The soldiers retrieved the targets, their eyes wide at the gaping holes left behind.

"Such terrifying power..." The women's expressions shifted. If this hit a human, it would punch straight through flesh and bone. Even a Hydro Vision user wouldn't be able to heal that kind of damage.

"This is way more efficient than a bow..." Kujou Sara muttered under her breath. Akio glanced at her—ah, right. Besides her, only Ganyu here primarily used a bow.

"Besides assault rifles, I also have sniper rifles." A sleek, elongated firearm materialized in Akio's hands, its surface adorned with Electro insignias—a clear indicator of its element.

"This one has an effective range of two kilometers. Taking out enemies from a thousand meters away is child's play." Suddenly, Akio raised the rifle skyward.

BANG!

A violet bullet streaked across the heavens. Seconds later, a charred bird plummeted from the clouds.

"By the Archons!" The soldiers gasped. They hadn't even seen the bird until it fell—just how high had it been flying? And yet, Akio had shot it down effortlessly.

"Ah, but that was just the appetizer." With a grin, Akio summoned another weapon—a massive, frost-coated launcher.

"Let's try this one." He suddenly pulled Ganyu forward.

"H-Husband, I... I don't know how to use this," Ganyu stammered, flushing slightly.

"I'll teach you." Akio pressed close, guiding her hands as he settled the Cryo rocket launcher onto her shoulder.

"Mm~" Ganyu's head spun. Her husband smelled so nice...

"Look here—this is the sight. Align it with the target." Akio pointed toward an empty stretch of land 200 meters away.

"Now, pull the trigger."

Ganyu did.

The rocket screamed through the air, detonating instantly upon impact. A massive Cryo explosion erupted, gouging a crater into the earth.

Jagged ice shards scattered in every direction—had this been a crowd, nobody within dozens of meters would have survived.

"So... so powerful!" Ganyu marveled. While this single shot didn't match her fully charged arrow, she was an Adeptus-level fighter—now bordering on godhood thanks to Akio.

For ordinary humans, even most Cryo Vision wielders couldn't achieve such destructive force.

Akio studied Ganyu, still frozen in place with the launcher in hand. Mm, this look really suits her.

He remembered back in his past life, when the game first launched, character power levels were modest. But when Ganyu debuted as a Cryo archer, she single-handedly revolutionized combat—players went from dealing thousands of damage to tens of thousands in one shot.

After testing various weapons, the group returned to Tenshukaku.

"I can already imagine the sheer combat strength our army will unleash once fully equipped with these!" Kujou Sara exclaimed, still buzzing with excitement.

"Naturally," Akio chuckled. "Ah, right—since we're moving forward with production, let me gift each of you something first."

He turned to the women. "Ladies, which weapon caught your fancy?"

"Assault rifle!" Raiden Ei and the Shogun declared instantly.

"RPG!" Raiden Makoto and Ganyu said simultaneously.

Akio blinked. Huh. Didn't expect the gentle, serene Makoto and Ganyu to prefer such violent firepower.

"Sniper rifle. Far more efficient than a bow," Kujou Sara stated firmly. The image of that Electro sniper shot was burned into her mind.

"Machine gun!" Guizhong and Keqing chimed in. They adored its sleek, intimidating design.

"A pistol is enough for me," Sangonomiya Kokomi, Hiiragi Chisato, and Ningguang said. Compact, portable, and elegant—what wasn't to love?

"What about you, Havria?" Akio asked.

"I... I don't mind," Havria murmured. She wasn't fond of conflict, so firearms didn't appeal to her much.

"Then a submachine gun it is," Akio decided with a grin.

With a wave of his hand, each woman found her preferred weapon materializing in her grasp.

"Now, my dears—you all wield elemental power at a god level. These guns have been modified. Simply channel your energy, and you'll have unlimited ammunition."

With near-infinite elemental reserves, reloading would be redundant—not that they'd need firearms in most battles anyway.

"Wonderful~" Every woman present adored her new weapon, already enamored with Akio's gifts.
