He was fairing against ona but one thing was certain. She was overpowering him!
The results were clear during the battle of strength as each of her hits sent him some few steps back. Of course he was also skilled in hand to hand combat but the commander had an advantage.

The attack connected sending wheeler to a kneel. The sword just barely stopped by his crossed hands. Using her feet she kicked his chest, slightly cracking his chest plate.
She's breaking through my defenses.. what the hell are her fists made of!? Wheeler inwardly fumed. Shocked to see the little crack line running along his chest piece.
