"GAHHHHHHHHH!!!"
"OUHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
"MUDAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
All three attacked the dragon at once.
"..." The dragon picked its nose, then flicked a booger at them.
"AGHHHHHHHH!!!" Caster took the hit and was sent flying.
"Lancer ga shinda!"
"You're not human!"
Nura and Amadeus charged forward, roaring like fearless warriors.
"Achoo!" The dragon sneezed.
Instantly, Amadeus was blown back.
"Ouch... That hurt, huh?! What the—?!" Caster, who had just gotten up, saw Amadeus crashing into him.
And so, Caster Cú was knocked down again.
"...I wish Shu-chan were here," Nura muttered, looking at the dragon, which yawned as if their efforts were pointless.
He gripped his sword tightly, staring at it with a serious expression.
"No choice then. I'll take care of you myself."
A dark mist began to envelop his body, emanating a terrifying aura.
...
"..." The dragon suddenly couldn't see the Servant in front of it. It glanced toward the two Servants it had just sent flying.
They were gone too.
Huh? I'm sure I sent those two flying over there.
Meanwhile...
"Of the 36 stratagems, fleeing is the best!" Nura, carrying both Servants on his shoulders, ran into a castle that hadn't been completely destroyed.
Thanks to his Assassin class's stealth abilities combined with Nurarihyon's innate skills, it was no surprise he could escape so easily.
Inside the castle, Nura set the two Servants down.
"Ouch..." Both Casters struggled to stand.
"Damn that blasted dragon... If I were a Lancer, it'd be roasted dragon by now!" Caster grumbled bitterly.
"Running was a smart call, Nura. Otherwise, we'd be back on the Throne of Heroes already," Amadeus said, checking his outfit and hair.
"Yeah, but this castle..."
The three looked around. The castle was pitch black and heavily damaged, clearly the site of an earth-shattering battle.
"Maybe this is where that Servant fought with emo Jeanne's group. Try sending out your dogs to sniff around for any Servants," Nura suggested to Caster.
Two dogs appeared, sniffing the surroundings.
"Oh! They've picked up on someone!"
"Perfect!"
"Wait, you two!"
Nura and Caster turned to Amadeus.
"I just heard someone's voice... really close... No! Very close!"
"What? What do you mean—"
The two dogs, which had been standing by, were suddenly crushed by a massive pillar, completely obliterated.
"NOOO, MY DOGS!!!!" Caster cried out in panic.
The three turned to see a figure clad in full armor, not a single inch exposed, shrouded in a mysterious dark aura.
"...Okay, I've got a bad feeling... This maniac is going to kill us all," Nura said, sweating as he readied his sword.
"Uohhhhhhh..." The strange growling sound made all three Servants realize immediately.
Oh... Got it. It's a Berserker.
"Wait, if he's a Berserker, then—?" Amadeus's eyes widened as he looked at the figure.
"Yeah... He's a Berserker Berserker. We're as good as dead. Got any last words?"
"I want my Gáe Bolg—"
"OUHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
The Berserker charged, swinging the pillar straight at the three of them.
"He's so damn fast?!"
Nura and Caster tried to block it together, but they were easily pushed back several meters.
The katana began to crack.
"NP, CÚ! NP!!"
"I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH!"
"OUHHHHHHH!!!"
The Berserker put in even more force, sending both of them flying, then hurled the pillar at Amadeus.
Amadeus dodged nimbly, only to see the Berserker holding something else in its hands.
"Wait! That's cheating—"
Boom boom boom!
Gunshots rang out, hitting Amadeus in the arms and legs.
Amadeus collapsed, gritting his teeth as he glared at the Berserker.
It was holding an Uzi and a sniper rifle.
What kind of game-breaking Noble Phantasm is that?!
A barrage of fireballs shot toward the Berserker, who promptly dropped the guns, grabbed a nearby stone pillar, and spun it rapidly.
"Are you kidding me?! Why does everyone keep blocking my fireballs?!" Caster began taking off his cloak, getting serious.
Amadeus struggled to stand, wanting to support Caster.
The Berserker and Caster locked eyes, both burning with fighting spirit.
A surge of roots sprouted from the ground beneath the Berserker, but he easily broke free.
Caster charged forward, swinging his staff at the Berserker, who effortlessly blocked it.
Suddenly, two dogs appeared out of nowhere, biting into the Berserker's arms and pulling him back.
Mana glowed from the staff, striking through the Berserker before circling back for another hit.
The Berserker grabbed the staff, preventing it from returning to Caster's hand.
"You think I always rely on weapons?!"
Caster quickly inscribed runes onto the Berserker's armor, causing his entire body to burst into flames.
Caster retrieved his staff, leaped back, and gripped it tightly, swinging it like a baseball bat at the Berserker's head.
"Requiem of Death!!"
After charging his Noble Phantasm for a while, Amadeus finally unleashed it.
Above the Berserker's head, musicians appeared, playing captivating music.
Instantly, the Berserker's attack and defense were reduced, and he was even afflicted with a curse.
"Now's the moment!!"
Caster summoned roots to bind the Berserker tightly, then jumped onto a nearby rock.
"Rune magic, activate!"
Runes appeared around Caster.
A whirlwind formed right where the Berserker stood.
Fireballs flew into the whirlwind, turning it into a fiery vortex.
Caster hurled his staff into the vortex, making it relentlessly attack the Berserker.
"Die!"
Caster slammed his hand to the ground, and from beneath the Berserker, the hands of the Wicker Man emerged, grabbing him before erupting in an explosion of flames.
...
The staff returned to Caster's hand. Amadeus watched the battle, sweating.
"Is he defeated?"
"Hey, hey, don't say that!!!"
A roar echoed, and the smoke cleared, revealing the Berserker completely unscathed.
"Great! Just how tanky is this guy??"
The Berserker pulled out a sniper rifle and fired three shots.
Caster blocked the bullets with his staff, only to see the Berserker appear right in front of him.
The Berserker grabbed him by the throat, ready to snap his neck.
"Ugh... As expected of a Berserker, strong... but stupid!"
"?!"
The Berserker sensed someone above him.
He looked up, only to see Nura's entire body shrouded in black mist, his sword similarly enveloped, his eyes pitch black with glowing yellow irises.
"This is the end!!"
The sword pierced straight through the Berserker's neck, cutting through his armor.
But Nura wasn't done. He pulled out a gourd of sake, took a swig, and blew a stream of blue flames at the Berserker.
Finally, Nura delivered a powerful kick, sending the Berserker flying.
Caster collapsed, clutching his throat, which had just been tightly gripped.
"Hurry! We need to find that person!" Nura extended his hand, and Caster grabbed it.
The three Servants then fled as fast as they could, leaving the Berserker struggling behind.
