Chapter 12 - finding beach in dreams

Kael stared at his screen, a bit tired.

"Show me that dream picture again," he said to Aethera.

Aethera answered, "Repeating Dream Fragment 22. Crescent beach. Black stones. Cliffs on the right."

Kael looked close. "That's the one I saw. Are there any beaches like this on the coast?"

Aethera checked. "Scanning regional pictures. Checking normal user photo posts. Three beaches match. Here, here, and here."

Kael nodded. "Good work. Let's check the first one."

Lirael walked in, brushing her hair. She noticed the tense look on Kael's face.

"You still thinking about that dream? The ship? Or the woman who got taken?" she asked.

Kael nodded. "Yeah. The dream feels too real. The woman... i don't care but she's may have special like kid's. The demon didn't kill her, just tied her up in the ship. That's strange.

She was wearing a red lifeguard outfit, right? Maybe she's just a normal beach coach. Still, any reason the demon wanted her alive?"

"I think she's got something. A rare body or special energy. Maybe demons can sense people like me. Maybe she could join us," liarel answered.

The turtle-demon shifted in the corner. It didn't talk, but Kael felt its eyes on him.

He thought quietly, Funny. This turtle doesn't even know it killed me once.

Kael looked at the turtle. " have you Awaken previous Demon memories yet?" he joked.

The turtle just stared, glowing faintly.

Lirael checked the beach photos. "So, what next? Just walk along these beaches and hope you remember more?"

Kael smiled. "It's better than sitting here. And if that demon ship is real, the turtle should react. The ship might even open for us if it senses the demon's soul."

Lirael nodded. "If this works, maybe you get more tech from it"

"Yeah. I want that ship. It's just tech , i needed that ship, And if that woman's alive, we can also offering her to join us ," Kael said.

Lirael put a hand on his shoulder. " with that ship, our technology can surpassed on whole another level ."

Kael stood up, grabbing his jacket. "We'll see. Time to go."

The turtle followed, quiet and ready.
