Violet Zimmerman's due date was still in the autumn, but having had the experience with giving birth to Robert Lancaster, Lorelei Howard arranged for her to be admitted to the hospital a week in advance.
Lorelei Howard didn't have much to do; she accompanied her during the day at the hospital, while at night, Daxton Lancaster or Sister Zhang stayed over.
Lorelei Howard suggested calling Violet Zimmerman's mother ahead of time, to have her come and be with her daughter, but Violet Zimmerman found an excuse to avoid it.
Daxton Lancaster understood Violet Zimmerman's thoughts and added, "Mom, Violet's mother still needs to take care of her grandson at home. We have so many servants at home, so it's not too late to inform them after Violet has given birth."
Lorelei Howard compromised, "Alright, then we'll wait for my chubby grandson to be born before calling the in-laws."
